No. The feature requests differ, as I have explained above.

Originally only a "Silenced Sniper Rifle, use for stealth mission/assassination mission" was requested, which was provided, albeit through DLC.

I'm closing this one, as this discussion is unnecessary and the other ticket is sufficiently specific.

Ticket #23751 was acknowledged by BI, so maybe maybe...but only maybe.

I'm not an influencer (specially not on features), I'm just helping keeping this tracker tidy. A new ticket was really the best way to get the proper attention. So vote up on #23751.

I think the Marksmen DLC helps with that - most of them have silencers and there is even a completely suppressed (recoiless?) rifle, the ASP-1 Kir.

Sorry, I commented from my mobile phone, but yes meant exactly what Raoul and AD2001 figured.

  • Moving while reloading heavy weapons (I suggest you turn this into a Feature ticket, to cancel reloading if you start moving while reloading)
  • Can't move while reloading pistol while prone; personally I think this shouldn't be possible for either rifle or sidearm, because think about it: how would this work? You use your arms usually extensively to move forward while prone, so you can't reload anything while creeping around

I think moving while reloading heavy weapons pushes the limit and I can't vote for that. As other mentioned, go to cover first.

I suggest we remove the "moving while reloading" part and leave it as Feature Request for cancelling the reloading action.

While in some regard I agree with b101uk, I agree also with your view, that it looks badly fabricated within the map editor, due to the geometric edges at the shoreline.

Some of it goes into being a nit-pick, but it could be revised still.

I'm sorry to keep nagging, but that mission is a full mission, not only a mission which shows the problem.

The problem with such full blown missions is, that you don't know where to look at, for how long to play it, to show the problem where.

We would require a scratch mission, only of the chopper trying to pick up the guys and then unload them again, exactly showing the problem only and only that.

It's called the grass layer. Replacement for grass rendering at distance.

Before that layer was implemented in A2, the soldiers were laying down in plain sight, even though they were supposed to be in high grass. The "grass layer" is a compromise, but it still renders camo colors or even ghillie suits pointless at distance.

This is not only caused by cheaters, but I/we thought it was caused by a mission bug. Now that it happens to other people, I'm not so sure anymore. :-)

Happened to some random server I was playing on and there were no cheaters on the server for what I could tell. The only player joining before that happened was "Predator", but he was actually known by the community he played on (I believe), he was playing along with everyone (using VON and participating in teamplay) next round.

Well I can see that the specific repro applies to CoF:Green, where the instructor voice was switched back to radio because of that, which indeed was rather a workaround than a fix.

It seems like the issue applies to the campaign now again. That's what you get for merely working around an issue.

Stream Friendly UI avoids any UI elements that disturb display and/or potentially give away the server of the person streaming, hence chat is disabled.

R34P3R, if you press your chat key it should always reappear and you can use PgUp/PgDn to scroll.
