Thanks for the answer, I am aware that I need consent from all authors, but I find it nice that you remind people of this :)
Is there any particular log I should send or pack them all into a .zip and send that?

Arma 3 Activity
May 29 2016
This is not a game issue. This message pops up whenever you want to play a scenario which uses third party content.
I reinstalled the game and am still getting the same error message
Hi.
I just want to add this video of a mod for the mrc scope that an Arma 3 modder made:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mij9Fy2VRcI
This proves it is possible, and can be implemented without massive frame rate loss.
I'm all for this idea!
It would make the game so much more immersive and enjoyable!
Cheers
Sorry for the delay in updating details.
I found out the easiest way to recreate the problem...
it just crashed to desktop
here's the exception log
This is a particularly big problem for tracked vehicles.
At least when you get some air time in a wheeled vehicle you continue forward at the same speed when you hit the ground. In a tracked vehicle, just going over a sufficient mound or bump at speed will cause the tracked vehicle to nearly front flip and slow drastically.
I agree.
If you look up videos of modern tanks such as the merkava mk5, they do not struggle to get up hills like the slammer on Arma 3 does.
according to the log the problem occurs when update command is passed to Steam client. Unfortunately because of an error on our part, an returned error code is not stored in the logs and it is lost. This should be fixed in Publisher on the development branch (the missing error code). Also more information might be available in Steam client logs (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs), if you upload them here, we could go over them to determine the cause of the issue.
Updated to 1.60RC
After some more testing, It is actually all the buildings inside the "structures_f_mil\barracks"
This issue persists in version 1.58.135742 and 1.60.136341 RC.
I have not experienced this issue for some time now, including prior to 1.58.
I really hoped that the lightning improvements from 1.60 would fix that, but it doesn't.
I got it. If this is done with vibration sometimes, it is not surprising that this happens when the server lag. On this topic exerted video that vibrations in camcorders
It is no longer relevant for a long time. The vibration should be off, give stabilization for all cameras.

Such a mechanism as a "camera stabilizer" - is not implemented in the game, and it's sad.
How it should work today:

Many more than 4 people consider this an issue - there are several other trouble tickets about the very same on this forum, and thousands more if you google the problem. It's been a constant annoyance for nearly everyone since Arma 2, apparently.
Not fixed!
Not fixed yet :((
It's not a mod, addon, function or script. It's an issue that at least exists in MP since Arma 1.
The shift+click icon still does NOT change with any color changes in the settings menu, and remains frustratingly faint-grey, and extremely hard to find in time-sensitive situations.
And as you can see, there are players listed even more than once in the unit list on the left!
A screenshot of a MP mission where players can recruit AI, again, AI not allowed
Forgot to mention, it's in 1.60RC but I guess it's the same in the current DEV version.
Optionally, but should be added.
this can be closed, it's already resolved
HI razazel -
This issue should be widely disclosed. This applies to all weapons, the whole technique.

Definitely a vanilla bug. It seems like camera movement is not properly synchronized with rendering.
The problem isn't with any particular drone,
It's not even limited to drones, also attack helicopters have this issue. Most of the times it's impossible to engage efficiently.
The problem isn't with any particular drone, and it isn't limited to a game with mods, it occurs in vanilla too.
The problem I think is something to do with remote controlling units, but only in a multiplayer environment.
See video: https://youtu.be/1YtQ9af9pzs
This was recorded solely in vanilla, with cam shake disabled in difficulty settings.
Update: Apparently the freezing effect goes away if the diver is healed, but if the diver is already swimming and gets injured enough, then he is frozen again. It looks like it is trying to use an animation that isn't there. I guess limping shouldn't be done underwater.
thank you for the feedback, we will look into that.
Unfortunately this is mostly caused by current limits in the technology.

thank you for the feedback.
thank you for the feedback. Do you experience this issue in any other game mode? Are you running any mods with the game and if so, are you experiencing same issues without them? Did you experience similar issues on any other server (assuming you are playing only on your group's server, sorry if I am wrong)?
More than once...
@Xeno : was there ever a report made on the old A3 tracker about this?
