I played with a TrackIR yesterdays experimental version just fine. Couldn't check stable yet but will do so in the evening and report back.
Did you tried to update the TrackIR software?
Also maybe fix the game version data in your issue, it says .53 everywhere but yesterdays stable version is .55.127157
if you fix bushes and trees to let bullets pass through them (not the log!) I am very grateful. This bugs me since day one, and dayZero for the original mod was able to fix this
I doubt they will butler, since a variation of this bug has been present on the experimental builds since the beginning of persistence.
It seems the checking of an area for the total number of items is broken.

it seems it has to do with the server/client desync - the server thinks I am at a different location. Often it is the last part of complex geometry/wall touched. You can check this if you drop an item, for example a food can to the ground, and it disappears from the inventory but does not appear in the vicinity. Backtrack the path you took, to the last place you interacted with the server, and there it is. If you do this, you then can go back to the item you could not pickup and pick it up. It's weird.

Playing on UK 0-04, Zelenogorsk is overflowing with loot, every spot in every building is occupied - well except the military spawns there, but even there it is quite full. Weird.

if you relog or come back after a server crash your item will be there. already submitted here.
What's the status on this one? What I hear cycling is still very much possible in .58 experimental. Could someone update this please?

Was the fire on the ground or in a building/first floor/any floor? There is a known issue that a fire does not radiate heat when _not_ lit outside and/or on the ground.
Happened to me as well in a random room of the apartment. The mosin sank into the ground and I thought I lost it - it was definitely not on the floor of the level below me.
As I returned to the room, I saw a tiny tiny speck on the ground, and it was a part of the long range scope of the weapon, clipping through the floor, and luckily I was able to pick it up.
Never dropped anything important in those appartments again.
Confirmed, it seems like it is dependable on the type of house. I can say the ATC is one of them.
there is a small house with one door and one side wood other side yellow/blue, it has a weapon spawn point in the corner where the bed is. You can find a pistol there.
plus be advised that ruined clothing does not protect you from weather effects and damage.

anybody who starves in the actual build needs to learn how to play the game honestly. it is no problem whatsoever to survive, food in abundance, just leave the damn coast.

Are you sure it is 1-9 and not 1-19? Because I have the same effect on 1-19, and AFAIK it is the only official german 1PP server

Let it only be set in the main menu when not logged into a game server. Perfect until the new renderer can deal with it.

Nonono Andy you got that wrong. This is issue 153 (see http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=153) and it has been around since day 1 and the last info/update the community received via reddit was that rocket stated at the moment they do not know the source of this bug. And that it could be related to several independent sources. And that someday in the future the sound engine would be redone completely.
Later Eugen commented that they identified at least some of the issues, but it was never resolved and never has been confirmed as solved by the community.
Since the issue was in the top5 of all issues since the release of the feedback tracker, the reverberations of a fix of the random sound bug would be substantial.

I think it is possible to stick your head into the wall of a building and see through it or into other rooms, see issue 16726
Apparently zeds break limps without the resulting status messages and indicators.
IMHO it only works with 2D scopes, not ingame rendered 3D like m68, ACOG, PU
Nonetheless, slow and steady is okay in my book ;)
This applies to .48 but was an issue since release.
can confirm, was unable to kill a player that was clearly visible in one of the rooms.

this is due to the current state of the respawn system. works on every spot that has reasonably few places to spawn loot in as an items is picked up. feedshacks on the borders of the map work as well, and I have seen the veresnik compound being exploited as well.
tldr: if there are a manageable number of spawn points in the active grid, one can loot cycle like there is no tomorrow
there is an already reported bug where the items are not accessible and invisible. you can fix that by relogging or if you force the server to update the content for you. That is, put an item in it (by dragging it on the text/main bar instead on an actual grid).

it would be nice if at least the current game version would be edited, since it is kind of essential. Plus it makes it easier to find new issues on .47
have seen it in .49 for sure.
if it is still active in .50 I do not know but since this issue here isn't even acknowledged I don't have high hopes..
Is this the considered primary report of said bug?
I have seen it on other players not in my group several times. Although I can not say for certain if that player was in my network bubble as I logged in. It could be, since it was at the NEAF and I only moved from the pub south of it to the hill northeast of it and then saw the player on the airfield, gliding and switching weapons constantly.
I don't know what happens if that player goes prone or crouches or aims. Should be tested!
plus the movement is far more easy to see than a not moving player

Please tend to it Geez, it is really immersion breaking. Rag dolled players slide like they have air cushions beneath them.
And they should roll and or slump together as a result of gravity on a slope, not slide!
There seems to be massive desync between the positions sliding rag dolled bodies are for the server and for the client.
I can't loot bodies that slid down something very often

I get that fixing glitches takes time, but now that they introduced grenades it would really be nice if they stopped this. It's been known since May. Just yesterday me and a buddy stumbled over a house in Khelm that was full with a shitload of left behind items from a duper kitchen.
See Ninjah, this is what I meant by game-breaking. It changes the balance and actual availability of equipment and weapons in a way that is not desirable, on many levels. People get a wrong assumptions of availability and the loot/weapon distribution. Devs are trying to push people inland with heightening the scarcity of military drops on the eastern part of the map, but you can too easily just lol at it and create your own items by duping.
it's preposterous how easy this is and how long it's been around. There are multiple duplicates on here yet nothing is happening. game breaking! oh wait, according to Hicks, it's only fun breaking. so everything is fine!
this is not connected to the ragdoll. It is an issue that is way older than ragdoll.
You have to put an item inside the container/clothing in order to force an update by the server and to make the items visible.
Sometimes this doesn't work because the clothing is full and has no free slots.
Other times you have no way to access a weapon a dead player was holding.
Only relogging fixes this, but you have to do it near a dead person and that is risky.

I do not get it why they had removed the reload sound. Makes no sense. Invites hopping in jail/camo buildings etc. So sad.

Still happens 99% of the time even on the newest experimental build. server crashes, you rejoin, get the 69 second timer and after that the please wait screen adds additional 60 to 120 seconds.
Play ten minutes, server crashes again...

Its funny how this issue still has the status 'new' but is apparently fixed in current version .46
you can update the issue to the current version 0.46 since it still happens. Funny thing is when running in a group, the glitch is inconsistently visible for some players and some not.
Confirmed for ballistic helmet, taking ballistic damage.
See video of WOBO on youtube, Blood Guide Part 2, 5:30 minute into the video. He shoots a player with a ballistic helmet (using a sporter) that is damaged/badly damaged, helmet goes pristine, it's clearly visible and WOBO confirmed it in the comments.
there was a bug once where you could punch a helmet and it would go pristine. Now while that was removed, it could very well be that other kinds/forms/sources of damage still have a way to lead to this.

jup, still ingame. no wonder with the massive desync that is currently harassing everyone. Died yesterday up the stairs in those tin sheds with the blue double doors.
The server desyncs with you and you will be forced to the position he thinks you are in. Movement on z-axis = fall damage gets applied = death.
Ridiculous, but that's just DayZ I guess.
there needs to be some kind of friction for the ragdolled body to not slide like it has a cushion of air

Confirmed, especially on hardcore servers. It's impossible to get loot on top of shelfs imho, i.e. a map or small thing. You cannot use the cursor/dot because of the height difference.
Don't know if it is intended though. But at the end it costs only server performance to render and handle unlootable loot so I guess it's unintended.
confirmed for .50.125144 experimental. I hope they fix this before this hits stable today but I do not expect this.

Very old bug but still not acknowledged and status new. This is still ingame on .49
This happens to me not on a random percentage but totally dependent on the population of the server. If under or around 10 players it is working like a charm, on the other hand on high-pops (currently playing experimental with 50 ppl) it so working so badly that I mostly just switch via drag and drop in the inventory screen. There it works, so it should be solvable quickly, because obviously the game _can_ take a user command and execute it without delay. I wonder what causes this...
@exil: I appreciate that you try to learn English as a second language, but I am not sure I got the message you wanted to send right.
And my remark was more aimed at others that read your recommendation and think about following it.

@exil: you definitely should add the information that doing so is only valid if you are a coast monkey or team deathmatch in towns mostly.
Since the settings of object detail (=SceneComplexity) and PreferredObjectViewDistance lead to you not seeing players as early as they see you if they haven't crippled their settings.
So, if you pvp in the north or in open areas, don't do this.
@all: it was stated repeatedly that one major issue causing this are the so called proxies. The design of those was the major driving force to implement the new renderer = to be able to get rid of those. So hang tight, it will be fixed.
