Duping glitch still exists
Assigned, WishlistPublic

Description

Dropped a second primary I was holding. It disappeared (as it does sometimes in experimental branch). So I quickly logged out and back into the same server - the gun is always lying on the floor when you do this. For some reason, no spawn timer (normally 69 seconds) present, so I immediately spawned in right behind a duplicate of myself. Shot him, looted the corpse. 2 of everything present.

I can confirm that the duplicate glitch still exists

wtf that is so frustrating to hear :( Eugen, what the hell? :D

Been able to do it twice more today. Both on the above referenced server.

Just did the same on US Day Z Southcentral 0-12 server. Put my second primary (the MP shotgun if it matters) down to do something esle. It disappeared. Logged off, back on, no timer, and there was a dup of me. Maybe related to the gun disappearing glitch?

Been able to do it on southcentral 4, 8, and 12. Haven't tried other servers. Gun in hand is irrelevant. Just log out and immediately join the same server.

Seems fixed on SC servers, but I just did it on SE-8 (don't know if these updates help or are a waste of time).

Definitely not a waste of time, even if we might not respond sometimes, we do monitor every ticket and appreciate your contribution!
This issue is quite tricky but rest assured that we are looking into it.

Andy

Thanks, Andy. Wasn't implying that a lack of response made me think it was a waste. Just don't know enough about production/coding to know if the "glitch" being present on some servers or others was relevant info.
