TrackIR no longer functioning with most recent stable update (0.53)
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Track IR used to work perfectly fine with DayZ, but with the most recent stable update (0.53) I have been unable to get the TrackIR software to recognize that I have launched a supported game and the device is not in the device list within DayZ. The headtracking does not work.

In older versions, when the head tracker would work, the TrackIR software would indicate that Arma 2 was the game it was detecting. Since today's patch, the "Current Game" indicator stays at "None" when I launch DayZ and the device is no longer listed in the recognized devices in the configuration list.

Since the updated .55 stable branch version, I have noticed that the Battle Eye window shows that it is blocking the trackIR version 4.xx software.

I played with a TrackIR yesterdays experimental version just fine. Couldn't check stable yet but will do so in the evening and report back.

Did you tried to update the TrackIR software?

Also maybe fix the game version data in your issue, it says .53 everywhere but yesterdays stable version is .55.127157

Reporting back: TrackIR works as intended here

I've posted on the trackIR forums, as well, and have confirmed with them that the newer versions of the trackIR software do work fine, but that the most up to date version for my hardware (version 4.2) does not work. As I said, it seems that it might be something with BattleEye blocking the software from initializing.

Thank you for the response.
