These steps are reproducable on several inventories as long as they are different types. IE: Barrel green and Barrel Red don't work (both are barrels) but barrel green and ADA boot inventory, does.

A possibly unintended side effect from this is Infected can no longer wear headtorches (I believe) as they no longer have a slot for the headtorch to go into.

Are you sure you set it up correctly?
Many people forget to add the "enableCfgGameplayFile = 1" line to their server.cfg file. It will ignore the new settings if you forgot that step:

  • Rod now extends when fishing, Thank you
  • Still cannot see hook slot with rod in hands.
  • Fished 3 times with pristine rod item, pristine hook and 3 worms.
    • first had no sound when the rod pulled in, and no item caught.
    • second had wet sound but no item caught
    • third had wet sound and a fish was caught.

I've been doing some research into this issue, and found the following:

  • Punching/firing bullets at the door can "reset" the state and allow unlocking.
  • Opening/closing a nearby door can reset the state and alow unlocking.
  • Check the lockpick, is it ruined?

Not sure if this was a setting that was fixed in 1.13, but I noticed this too.
Before if you had a beefy PC, you could set your view distance high, and it simply wouldn't show custom/live objects beyond a certain point, but would still show static map details like buildings and terrain.

@Dayz is it possible to implement a mute function for the handheld transceiver? Switching between listening only and listening + sending? Many times I am talking with someone via direct communication and want to keep my radio on (without unrealistically sending all the time).

I’m pretty sure 1.12 has broken signature verification for mods, meaning any mod with a signature can’t be verified when the server requires a signature verification check, causing the 0x00040073 error.

Not sure how this would be true entirely, as we have severs maxed out with players, yet some are still unable to connect with the error.
If what you were saying was the case, surely it would affect everyone, no?

I've spoken to 2-3 people whom have got it working by running the launcher in administrator mode.
Perhaps try that?

  • locate the DayZLauncher.exe (usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ) and right-click DayZLauncher.exe
  • Choose Run as Administrator and accept the pop up.

To clarify with Spaggie, We have LOTS of people who connect just fine, no issues. Just 1 or 2 that are having the issue above. All Namalsk servers are full or 30+, yet these 1-2 individuals just can't seem to get connected.

In addition, this also happens with other loot, when hidden in trees.
For instance, if you accidentially drop your camping stove whilst in a tree for cover, it will appear just above your head in the tree.
You can see the item just above your head, but it does not appear in the vacinity, not does a "take to hands" prompt appear.

I'd like to add my 2 cents too. As well as the above, there is currently no point in having a raincoat, as you will never get warm while wearing one. I suggest removing the inventory from raincoats and allowing them to be placed over your coat in the high-cap vest spot. Running should also give you a heat bonus like you get from a fire, only shorter.
