At some points DayZ is (too) realistic…
Same with „everything is of glass“ and brakes after 3x usage.
If you could use everything just +25% more, it would not break the game or feeling but would make a lot more fun for all user ;-)
sadly it's a crafting mechanic from what I understand. unpeeled it's a seed and peeling changes the asset to a food asset.
Though I LOVE Mashed potatos... IRL I wouldn't bother peeling a potato if I was cooking it on/in a fire.
Little butter and tin foil to wrap it up... mmm perfect camping/survival potato.
