Please consider the ability to further process meat into smaller pieces.
IE a 2x2 Beef steak into 2x 2x1 steaks, and a 2x1 steak into a single slot piece of meat.

Could the size be representative of the portion left?
IE a full cow steak takes 4, Half takes 2, and a quarter takes 1?
