I don't want to be offensive, but if I read argumentations like those from dazzz666 or Pershing, I imagine myself a typical kiddie from Battlefield or Call of Duty.

Those people never carried a loaded sniper rifle/heavy or light machine gun and/or rocket launcher in combination with ammunition, a body armor, helmet and a full backpack.

The new stamina system is fine. You have to take a look, what you are wearing and carrying.

I was able to reproduce your problem.

If you play KotH (I play it too), you have to take other classes (appearances) than Rifleman and Rifleman (UK). Those both appearances have the best armour but weight the most.

If you have choosen the right equipment, you are able to run around.

No, it is not a bug, it is intended. But unfortunately not all key settings are available in the ingame settings.

If you want to disable the head movement, go to:

-libraries\documents\Arma3\username.Arma3Profile and open it with f.e. Notepad++
-press Ctrl+F and type: "keyFreeHeadMove"
-find and delete the number between those braces -> {}
-save the file

Now you can play your game and don't get annoyed by the head movement anymore (freelook still works)

That is not a bug.

For your information: If you hold Ctrl (Strg for the German layout) and move your mouse, you move your head horizontaly to the left, right, front and back. It is for a better orientation, if you fly and want to check the area under and around the chopper.

You can only disable the function in the Arma3 config but not in the game.

What kind of graphics card are you using?

If you are using Intel HD Graphics, start your game with following parameter: -nobenchmark.

Try to verify the integrity of your game cache with Steam.

If you are using mods, deactivate them and restart the game.

As long as you don't move your character, you can aim normally.
But if you walk forward, you are restricted to a much lower angle.
From my point of view, that doesn't feel right.

The ticket creator (street-you) is using mods, as you can see in his video, but I can confirm that issue and it is reproducable with the latest vanilla version of ARMA3.

Take (for example) the Navid 9.3mm, press reload and change to your pistol, while the reload animation is playing. You can clearly see, that the cover stays in the open position as your player changes to the pistol. If you now change back to your gun, the cover is still in the open position. Now change your rate of fire constantly and the cover opens and closes constantly too.

Hello,

by random I found out how to activate the Translation/Rotation/Area Scaling/No Widget with a single key press.

Just press the space key to switch between these four Widgets.

It is not the one key solution you really want, but it's a fast solution without using the widget icons in Eden.

I think, I know, what your problem is: Your CPU is too weak.

I had the same CPU like you at the release of Arma 3 and experienced experienced low frames per second in one of the showcases ("Helicopters" on Stratis). After I updated my CPU to a i7 3770K (4x 3,40 GHz), I was able to play that showcase with 60+ frames per second (in combination with a 580GTX 3GB).

I recommend an upgrade of your CPU.

A big problem is if you want to let a helicopter fly or hover in low heights from the beginning of a mission.

The helicopter only starts flying if you set an altitude of 19m and above.

If you set an altitude lower than 19m the helicopter will crash because its engines are off.

I think, a small field with that "flying" attribute would be great.

What if I just want to let choppers and planes fall from great heights with their engines turned off?

I had a similar error as I started with Arma3 (alpha release march 2013).

I actually use a GTX580 (3GB) and used Core 2 Duo with 2.60 GHz. The game ran slow as hell in all graphic modes. The CPU was a bottleneck. I upgraded my CPU to an i7 3370K (3.50 GHz). Since that upgrade I was able to play with maxed out graphic modes and 30-90 frames per second.

As far as I can see, you are playing Altis Life. Not the best game mode for a smooth gameplay (depends on how many players are online). Most of these non official game modes (like King of the Hill) use heavy scripts and are not well optimized.

I have found a solution for the problem:

There is a function in the Eden editor that is called "Toggle Vertical Mode".

You can find that function on the right side of the sphere symbol (it looks like an unopened letter symbol).

After you clicked on "Toggle Vertical Mode" you can rotate and move all kind of objects without losing their rotation attributes.

Not very intuitive from my point of view.

I think, as long as we have to edit the loadout of every single unit with the Initialisation box, as long as we have to wait for some little comfort functions like a weather switch.

For now, we have to deal with it and use to find ways to workaround such little things.

Why don't you take a screenshot of the weather settings (it is only one settings page), clear all weather settings, modify the mission, look at the screenshot and recover the weather settings? I think, it is not that hard :)

@freexavier Yes, something like that. Something like in the Zeus game mode with two or more gamemasters.

It would be great, if you would be able to create a base/FOB and your buddy is creating an enemy outpost/mission goal at the same time on the same server. Both are able to look at their creations, discuss and tweak them. Maybe it would save a lot of time.

What do you mean with "Switch back to Objects"?

If I choose BLUFOR, OPFOR until PROPS, the highlight (Assets) stays on Objects (F1).

Maybe I do something wrong, but if I clear the search bar and switch through the Assests, I don't have any problems.

I asked him, if the "wobbeling"/"moving clouds" are a general issue of TrueSky.

He sent me following answer a half an hour ago:

But, as far as I can see, the AI visibility should be tweaked since the last update to version 1.50 (the video is from the 2nd of July 2015). Sorry for that.

I know the Arma series since Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and know, that the engine has its own advantages and disadvantages.

The question is, why the engine switches the level of detail, if you press the iron sights/optics key if you sit on the bench of the chopper/use the firing-from-vehicles-positions?

I know, that and how TrackIR is working. From my own experience, there is a big difference, if you just look on your monitor from distance (with TrackIR) or you have the feeling, to be in the game (with a HMD). Every shaking or swiping hands infront of your view would be distracting or can cause nauseated feelings.

A feature to disable head animations would be great. Especially if Bohemia Interactive decides to support the virtual reality head mounted displays. Nothing would be more anoying than a shaking head and a hand, that wipes your virtual sweat from your forehead.

0x00000051 seems like a registry error. Maybe try to uninstall/reinstall Steam (don't forget to create a backup of all of your games).

Error 81 seems to be a Steam related problem. Try to close Steam and restart it as an administrator (right click->properties). For some people, that should help.

Try to communicate in english.

Das nächste Mal erstelle ein Ticket in englischer Sprache, da dieses Problem auch bei anderen Spielern auftreten kann, die der deutschen Sprache nicht mächtig sind.

Öffne dein Steamprogramm, wechsele in die Bibliothek, suche dort nach "Arma 3", wähle mit der rechten Maustaste den Menüpunkt "Eigenschaften", wähle den Reiter "Lokale Dateien" und klicke auf "Spieldateien auf Fehler überprüfen".

Wenn du damit fertig sein solltest, defragmentiere noch zusätzlich dein Spiellaufwerk. Diese beiden Schritte empfiehlt Bohemia Interactive auch nach jedem großen Update.


Next time, create a ticket in English, because other non-german players may experience the same issue.

Open your Steam client, change into the library, search for "Arma 3" , click the right mouse button and select "Properties", change to the tab "Local Files" and choose "verify integrity of game cache".

Now you need to defrag your game drive . These two steps are recommended by Bohemia Interactive after every major update .

English is not my native language, but I can tell you, that nobody knows, what you are trying to report with your ticket.

All I can see on your attached picture is a low resoulution screenshot.
