Could you provide an image of the issue from in game.
Find which vehicle it is based off of in real life and/or show us an image of the issue like the ticket regarding the exhaust from the AH-99 has.
I fixed the issue by plugging it into the USB 2.0 slot. It was plugged into the USB 3.0 slot before. Not sure if this is a problem with Arma 3 or the computer or software.
I can do it every time and loose controls for the joystick. Must be for the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro only. I guess but I'll see if scuba king has the issue as he has the Same joystick.

A gps grid ref only uses 6 numbers.

Isn't the story line that the civilians moved to Altis?
Rain is highly WIP and will likely be worked on and finished post release.
Without a valid mission to reproduce this issue nothing can be done about it.
Good to see this ticket assigned! Hopefully this problem that the original Truesky software had can be solved.
I noticed that SimulWeather's TrueSky has this problem on its own without being in a game, so this may be a really tricky issue to solve.
Why don't you shrink the pictures size?

Sure it's not intentional?
The current simulation of clouds is greatly affect by this. If you have been in an airplane and had a window seat, you can easily see clouds passing over the wing and very closely to the window.
Creating a "cloud removal LOD" or doing something similar to the config parameter that removed water from a vehicle but instead removed clouds from a plane, helicopter or man class would be sufficient.
@izaiak I assumed yours was the same problem. How are they different issues?
I tested it and there still is a big hole through the clouds showing the ground and the dark blue void. It should be clouds below the player when flying in the clouds. It also still feels like we are flying in a bubble.
This issue has improved a lot though but still needs work.
It should not be a perfect circle though, and it also had a problem of allowing an aircraft in the clouds or a skydiving player to view the ground when they shouldn't have been able too.

you have to have a unit selected as "player" before you can preview.
Generally they try to keep the landmass realistic to the location in the world and engine. Altis/Lemnos does have a salt lagoon/lake which is filled with water half the time durring the year.

Agios Efstratios is a dry island, Altis is less so but still dry. The island is volcanic with steep hills.

Have you tried this in the latest dev build? I thought the magic roll onto wheels was fixed in the dev build at some point in time.
UUV's can also function as USV's which means that UUV's are more versatile.

Right click when in the UAV terminal screen with the two camera views! Altitude and hold fire are there.
Hold fire already exists for Unmanned vehicles.
To acomplish this feature/ability you could create a On/Off switch for the Unmanned vehicle and by turning it on it would start moving.
Or you could have a "wait" option that makes it wait until the operator makes it not wait anymore.
They are on the development branch currently.
In theory what I want to be able too do is setup a bunch of waypoints like take off, fly to target, kill target, fly to next target then to the next from specific angles and areas but have the UAV or UVG not preform these actions untill I tell I tell it too. I could then seek in and kill a target then escape when the Unammned vehicle attacks the preprogrammed location I know and can avoid while seeking away.
It's really hard going from years of Arma 2 with realistic names and vehicles to Arma 3. Arma 3 at the moment appears like it takes place in a modern and not futuristic era. Using real modern vehicles and weapons that militaries have as standard would have looked a lot more futuristic.
They don't just make things up even the Kajmin is based off of three real life vehicles. They technically used the GhostHawk's code name/ public name. But I agree this new ruling does affect what fears BIS would have with using real names but the real question is how this would work in the other major countries unless EA has done that too.
Death, I am also for this ticket as I have wanted this for a long time.
I would suspect they changed the names to avoid the lawsuit that EA got into. I would say the vehicles in Arma 3 are visually closer than EA could make because BIS aims for realism more than EA. Arma 3's field guide even talks about them realistically and true to the real life vehicle.
You don't completely change the name of a vehicle when you upgrade it for more modern combat. You would call it the same as the original name but say it was fitted for more modern combat.
Why shouldn't they be? Other than the Ghosthawk and Kajmin they are based on real life vehicles in use right right now. The ghosthawk is an exception as its clouded in secrecy. The models are very true to the actual real life version, BIS even is working on fixing the east points on the Comanche to make the visual model more true to the real life version.
Leave this ticket for the "self destruct function" and make a new one about the weapon and show real prototype tech like the one fps Russia had but I suggest not showing his video but instead showing real Militery information and video on an armed quadrarotor.
Shouldn't other UAV operators be able to take control of vehicle from a uav terminal? Or are the UAV's bound to the device in the players inventory separately?
The driver camera is elevated above the main part of the vehicle on the right side.
Can someone confirm by adding a picture to this ticket that the stomper unarmed version has controls for a driver without a uav terminal?

How high? Thinner air and increased winds can make high altitude annoying in real life.
Left click when in the map control page and select what you want it to do like: loiter, search and destroy, and hold fire ect...
To make it circle around a point, right click in the map mode with the two cameras and select loiter.
Which drones? And can you please provide a mission for easy repro of this issue?
