Any updates? its now Nov 14 2024 and this still isn't fixed?! Basically cant run a DayZ server on Linux without being on a old OS. Please fix it!!!

Might be a stupid question, but how and where do I do so Leo?

Has there been any progress to improve this for the next patch?
This has gotten worse with 1.26

Did a clean install, not a crash thus far and thank you for the kind response!

I am very curious to see when the vanilla launcher through Steam will be fixed, as I and many of our players on our servers use this launcher to play. It comes up not showing any mods, when clicking set up and join it will not load any mods at all either. Seems the 1.26 update has broken the launcher somehow, but I am hoping and looking forward to when this gets fixed.

if i start dayz it will not resume to start

I do consider the group limit an issue in which Arma 3 should improve upon.

In my opinion this spawn system is way better, even though what you say is definetly true and a big downside.
With the old system you can reliably and really quickly respawn and kill your killer.
Need to get back to elektro but you spawned in Svetlo? Suicide within 30 seconds. And again and again and again, each time you have a chance to spawn in Elektro.
Within 6 Minutes you will have ten chances to spawn there.
This even extends to inland areas, letting people get back to their body at higher tier mil bases within fifteen minutes, leaving no time for their killer to have a fair and realistic chance to deal with them.

A server ping exceeding 999 milliseconds when hosting a LAN is a normal occurrence. This is because the server is not accessible from the internet and we cannot accurately assess ping times using private IP addresses.

Seems the crash is related to some mod you are running. In such case the issue has to be fixed by the mod creator.

The crash dump points towards nvppex.dll file, indicating a problem with your GPU drivers. Please do a clean installation and check your OS for any corrupted installations/files. Also make sure your system is up to date.
Disabling HWAA in the game might resolve the issue but the root cause is somewhere on your system.
There is also a chance that if you are running Nvidia app instead of Ge-force experience that that is the cause of the problem.

The crash dump points towards nvwgf2umx.dll which is a part of the nvidia drivers. Please try to do a clean install and make sure to install the latest version of the driver.

These config entries are only read on Transport vehicles.
On people, they do have the entry in engine, but its always initialized to false, and never read from config.
