Hello Geez,

Hello Geez,

@jamielou.007 Ah, thanks. It looks very clumsy but to be fair it's WiP and fanmade. Have you seen this?
Sep 5 2020
@jamielou.007 That tweet is for some reason not available to me. Do you have another source?

@Geez Hi, is there any update on this? Will the player controller be revised regarding player weight and inertia and if so, when can we expect first iterations and testing?
@jamielou.007 Well, unfortunately my last question has gone unanswered. I will ask again and update here accordingly.

@GlutenFreeVapes Hi and no. It doesn't seem related to me. This ticket discusses two issues. The first is about the lifetime of never touched items and the second is about the problem of no existing limit to the amount of how many of one item can spawn in a specific area. If the latter existed, we wouldn't have the problem of swarm spawning, discussed in this ticket --> T137112
@Geez appears to be RESOLVED
@Geez Dear devs, please add a check in the Central Loot Economy Config as to how many of one specific item are allowed to spawn in a certain area/or distance from each other This would resolve the "swarm spawning"-phenomenon

Attempts to fix:
Verifying integrity of game cache files
Reinstalling DayZ

Hello Geez,
The issue is still present and occurring in countless instances within the latest "stable" 1.08 update, 1.08.153251 to be precise.
Jun 27 2020
@Geez scheduled for a fix for what is close to an entire year now. Any updates?

Unbelievable...

@Geez such as? Tell us where we can talk with the devs about the future. Where is the announced statement after the studio closure outrage? Is it gonna be 'People calmed down, who cares?' And now you'll probably ban me from this, ironically the car despawn ticket that I've put quite a bit of work into collecting all the tickets. The devs do some wholesome twitter post everyday and that's it. Where are the facts. Where are the meat and potatoes. Lies.

@Beavis Are you still under the illusion that this game will be developed any further? Haven't you read "DayZ in 2020"? They closed a studio mate. The barebones 5 updates, literally the very little they promised, they won't even deliver on. They said 5 updates for this year, which still gives them all the leeway they need, to put nothing into it, but we won't even get those, no, we got one and it's the end of may...
Apr 20 2020
@Geez Hi Geez, has the development team come to any conclusions looking into this issue for the past 7 months?
Apr 9 2020
@Geez What is it with these bots plaguing the feedback tracker?
Feb 26 2020
@Geez Thank you for replying! Despite avoiding to answer the question. I assume it isn't amongst top priority then, but at least we know it is still being worked on.
Feb 22 2020
@Geez From BI's "DayZ in 2020"-article, we've learned that bug fixing and optimization are the main focus of the continued development in 2020. Given, that there has been quite the negative response regarding this article, due to the fact that community-members can't fit all the PROMISED FEATURES in the "some new small-scale content"-statement within this "DayZ in 2020"-article, I want to ask you:
@Geez Thanks!

@Geez Thank you!
@Geez Since the 1.06 Patch notes mentioned fixes related to inventory (listed below) and not all tickets that are assumed to be resolved are in fact marked as such, could you please provide us with an update as to whether this issue is still assigned and being worked on?
Dec 12 2019
@Geez Video updates have been provided as you've requested. The issue is ongoing and has notably increased in appearance. Could we get an update please?
I can confirm the issue happening precisely as described and shown by @Col_Kernel Thank you for the detailed report and effort put into it.

@Geez INTENDED/REVIEW? @purpleurkltv Cars despawn on next server restart, once the engine has been ruined in a car crash. This is currently intended behaviour.
@Geez RESOLVED
@Geez CLOSE/EMPTY
@Geez DUPLICATE of T139497 @bnasrich When a car crashes, the engine becomes ruined, which currently cannot be repaired. The server then despawns the car upon server restart. For your other car, there is a major bug the moves cars when servers restart, resulting in them being repositioned and often times destroyed, resulting in them being despawned. This is a known bug and being looked into T139497

@Diiixn Was the radiator filled with water?
@Geez OUTDATED
@Geez RESOLVED/INTENDED @roysmajky The radiator is in the game for a reason. It's a vital part of how a car functions. The radiators job, is to cool the engine, thus your battery didn't run out of juice, but your engine was ruined due to overheating. This is intended behaviour. When a car is ruined, it is despawned upon server restart. For your next car, attach a radiator and fill it up. I would however not encourage you to invest the time and effort before this major bug T139497 is fixed.
