It is also not possible to move the bolt into the hands slot manually, as bolts attached to zed/player corpses do not show up in the vicinity (don't know if that is intended or not)

@Geez Hi Geez,
may I ask how it makes sense that you can NOT put the arrow in your hands, while at the same time it is somehow possible to take them directly into your inventory?
Best regards
@Geez There appears to be some internal miscommunication on your end, as the "KNOWN ISSUES" Section in the 1.21 Stable Patch notes clearly acknowledges the issue described in this ticket.

Bolt stuck in an AI can be picked up into your inventory but not taken into hands
For clarification, I would like to request this ticket be reopened until it is fixed.

Hello freerider3434.
There indeed has been a miscommunication and the problem is scheduled for a fix.
The intended part is related just to
bolts attached to zed/player corpses do not show up in the vicinity
@Geez Thank you! Do I understand correctly that the devs only intend for the bolts to show up in vicinity, but you won't be able to put it in your hands via holding "F"? If that is the case, I would like to ask why. It is possible with literally every single other item in DayZ.
btw, a workaround I have found.
Have the crossbow in your hands, unload it, aim at the stuck bolt.
I have been able to reload from the AI the bolt is stuck in with this process.
