Description

I installed a fresh copy of experimental server on Ubuntu 20.04, did some basic config, and getting the following crash error (full log file attached):

Tried running a server with a download via SteamCMD only and a download via LinuxGSM.

Any new word on this issue? I've tried running server via install with Steamcmd as well as install with LGSM. I get same error both ways. SIGSEGV(11) crash.

Can confirm this is an issue with 22.04 LTS as of today. I am going to roll back to 18 and see if it works there. If not maybe straight Debian or CentOS. I'll update with my outcomes.

update: 18.04.6 LTS confirmed working.

Any updates on this? It's been like 3 months since this issue started. Haven't been able to do any linux experimental testing. C'mon.

Dayz does not run on Linux anymore, please fix this, its been 6 months.

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Fresh server install on ubuntu 22.04. Server reaches the "Entering IN" line, sits there for 5-10 seconds, then crashes with segmentation fault.

Hello everyone.
Currently we only officially support 18.04.xx LTS.
This means that ubuntu 22.04 or 20.04 etc might not work - which seems to be the case.

Please put that in some notes or updates so people don’t waste time setting up an updated server only to start over with an older OS.

Just ran into this after spending a few hours getting everything else going (because I’m a noob to Linux and steamcmd/lsgm). Curious if there’s any eta for when it might support 22.04.
