Thank you very much for the info and support.
I am going to order a new grafics card since there is no driver support given for this one on Linux Mint.
Btw. I am not shure if I did use Winetricks for in order to run steam. I think I am using it for another program.
I'll post in this report once it solves the issue.

When they solved this issue? In ["Arma 3","Arma3",183,144605,"Development",true,"Windows","x64"] no this problem.
In T127366#1672689, @VisMotrix wrote:the same problem for me
I received the same crash, although it was when I attempted to export the mission to my MPMissions folder.

the same problem for me
Please assist as soon as possible as this is very frustrating and has been happening ever since the 1.8 update for Linux.
Per the wiki at https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Arma_3:_Event_Handlers#Killed, it is possible that since A3 v1.65 if the instigator isNull, then respawn button was clicked. At least, this is how the BIS revive system detects for it in BIS_fnc_reviveEhKilled. However the unit is already dead at this point, so this does not help the issue.
@Wulf - The same issue applies to the Prowler AT. Also related: https://feedback.bistudio.com/T128055
This says resolved but it still appears to be an issue in game. Just looks wrong

@Wulf Any update on this? Would be a shame if the patch went live with this issue still occurring.
Hey Wulf - just tested this and confirmed both mirrors work in Dev Branch. Voting to close.
I also experienced this crash, but it only happened once and there was no clear cause for the crash.
Can confirm this same behavior. Only Commander has optic/PiP camera.
This behavior exists in other programming languages such as c++ and c# - those languages don't throw compiler errors. I don't think there's much here that can be done as this is just part of the implementation of the language.
Confirmed this behaviour still exists in latest release as well as current dev build (1.83.144597)

As a workaround: Disable your analogue controls (Joysticks, Throttles or Pedals) in the controller tab. You should now be able to bind your keys without interference.
Just happened again on 1.80.144071 while playing Liberation mission. It seems like playing that mission makes it most easily reproducible for me.

It appears resolved in 1.82.144596

I don't have so much space to play dev branch and current released version (1.80). But perhaps some player/dev can do that. Anyway, the problem is easy to reproduce in 1.80. For more info, I just used a weapon squad (BI standard group) and placed a radio trigger to kill or Set unconscious the 3 following AIs: grenadier, marksman, AT specialist.
If you test with set unconscious these 3 AIs, the problem is obvious, giving orders to remaining units.
If you test with setDamage then don't forget to add a respawn time (that works for playable AIs also), the problem occurring while the 3 AIs are in respawn-dead status and disappear as soon as they respawn.
This effect become most popular mod in Steam Workshop for last week PICTURE
Any updates on this? Both achievements still not achievable at this moment.
Reason for the crash are the bluetooth headphones.
No crash happens with cable connection or speakers.

It actually seems worse. I was testing out the new LOAL missiles and had a drone positioned above the target area. When in a Rhino, switching to the drone, the game would come to a crawl. I still have the same issue with helicopters also. It is really bad when flying over land and buildings. Switching to on board sound card @ 5.1 works fine. 5.1 or 7.1 with USB or wireless head set becomes unplayable.
Confirmed still an issue in the RC of 1.82.
Confirmed still an issue sometimes in RC 1.82.

ok. thanks for the update.
Tested it in dev branch. It seems rare with around 10% - 30% repro which means that this getting fixed might take some time.y
Hi Wulf,

Sorry for replying this late. Have you tried recreating this bug in our Dev branch build?
Was broken? Meaning it isn't anymore? I am testing the "Support Requister" and "Support Provider CAS (Bombing Run)" and it works as intended. If you do not want the AI to take off right away then change its behavior to safe and it will stay on the ground until called.
Talked to our programmers. They told me that from what we know Winetricks is not supported so it is likely caused by this. I am sorry, but there is nothing we can do. We do have a Linux version of the game for people with Linux.
Confirmed still an issue in the RC of 1.82.
I am unable to reproduce this problem in our dev branch and internal build. It could mean that this got fixed and it should be available with the next proper update. Could you please test this out in our dev branch if the issue happens there?
Ok, thank you for letting us know. If anything changes let us know.
Interesting I am testing the bug on dev and in our internal and I do not have this issue.
encounter this problem since yesterday too. Also my textures wont load anymore in buldozer. Hope this get fixed soon
New info:
The game doesnt crash anymore. First i try Apex single Player and it runs fine. After that i try arma 3 presentation mission and it also runs fine.
Have no idea why it works today, looks like the problem is cleared anyway.
Thanks for your efforts.
Thank you for the report. We will have a look at it.
Thank you for the report. We will have a look at it.
I will ask the designers if there is any reason for this.
The crash happens as single player in campaign missions and also in missions under presentations.
I have no experience in multiplayer missions.
Thank you for the report. By mission do you mean multiplayer mission or singleplayer mission in campaign?
Thanks for the info guys and wolf for the suggestions. Still haven't had any related crashes since removing the above software. So could close this on the assumption it was RivaTuner, MSI Afterburner, or some other related software issue
No, this is a different error. The report shows 0xC0000135 - STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND. The OS is unable to load a file that is required to run the game. A missing DLL may belong to the game, the OS or one of the required components (DirectX e.g.).
With the advent of the Tanks DLC release, I sure hope that the way any ricochet, penetration or absorption of shots against armour can be changed. It is frustrating to see that there is an accurate penetration system, with very good ballistics and all, that is abused in this way. The system allows for a complex damage model, where vital components can be protected by armor. However, the way it works now, is even if the protection works, the vitals still soak up damage, eventually leading to vehicle destruction.
