Wulf closed T126701: Eden Editor: Facewear/Goggles not showing up for "Player" entity as "Resolved".

It's overridden by glasses defined in player profile and I don't think there is way to change it through config. So if you want to change how your player character looks like, you have to go to your profile and change facewear/glasses of your character that way.
