Recently, I have been able to play for about 5-10 mins before it crashes - if I use the top nav bar on the menu screen and are quick/lucky.

I'm not sure. I downloaded the arma 3 tools from steam and then tried to install the GameUpdater.exe.
Then I couldn't log in, so I never got any further.

Hard stuttering inside vehicles. .5 sec it rund and 3 sec it doesnt. that repeats and makes it undrivable.
Also thought it looks like it cant access some soundfiles or so.

What branch did you try to download? Was it the RC or a password-free branch?
The ticket resolved. The laser beam works correctly. The range data does work the camcorder. There are values of distance on the radar.
The ticket can be closed if it is included in 1.70.
exit code 0xC0000005 - STATUS_ACCES_VIOLATION
none of those solutions worked for me I fixed it myself
I opened all my ports now arma 3 doesn't crash

can reproduce this too
I'd love to see a manual transmission added too.
Really annoying if you use the mod @BASE an test it in the YAAB benchmark you see the disappearing of smoke and explosions.
Could this problem connected to https://feedback.bistudio.com/T119284

Hi, I've had the same problem. My GeForce 760 crashed very offen. But no only arma crashed, UE map makes me the same problem.
Hey @razazel, looks like the issue is still there, though either the build is a bit dodgy or something has gone wrong my end because right at launch I get a segfault and instant crash, so I'm going to trying and figure what when wrong, then I'll see if this issue still occurs.
Info about RC branch

Still broken in 1.71 dev.
This was the case of missing format. The correct format for this remote execution should be
So there is no any layer?
I don't know if it's just a single mod or multiple mods but I am not using any of the original mods
@razazel Where can I obtain this new build (Linux build specifically)?
I suspect this is because BI use a "Land_HelipadEmpty_F" in their spectator script as a dummy object which is attached to units for the purposes of camera tracking. (Line 78 of fn_EGSpectatorCamera in functions_f_exp_a.pbo)
It appears that the latest windows update has fixed the issue. What I think happened is that the because I had installed the creators update in its early stages some of the file probably got corrupted which is what broke the launcher.
repro / more data is indeed needed
also check RPT logs if no samples are missing or similar errors ...
Could you please check the latest RC build to see whether this was fixed?
Try disabling third party mapping software.
I have this issue on the new jet dlc, i can only use 0-89% throttle. If i want to go to 100% throttle i have to hold left shift. Anyone knows how to fix this? Please please explain, this seems to only be happening in the jet dlc. Please explain in steps and in real details. Im not so good at scripting etc.
This annoys the heck out of me too.
I don't think it has been unfortunately and with no responses, it's starting to look like it won't be resolved...

Did anyone has this resolved?
Okey I just reversed the SoundScene class and have access to the sound tables. It's very likely some special sound causing that.. Now I'll just have to wait till I get that sound bug again then I can provide more data.
oK Problem fixed.
It seems that if the mouse has more than 125hz of refresh, cord or wireless, then the issue is produced. When the mouse is down to 125hz then everything is ok.
As said this only happens in 64bits option and not in 32bits.
I tried with other mouse cord one with that refresh frequency and the result was the same.
Maybe there is something in the 64bits code that is affecting this? because in 32bits doesn't happen this.
it could well be the surround sound is stressing the CPU to much or is bottlenecking at RAM-CPU area! Need a dev to give us a definitive answer really?
Same issue here, dev 1.71.141562

A very similar issue was peresent in Witcher 3 earlier at the release.

I'm running Intel - issue is present.

Logitech G930 wireless headset (Logitech software up to date)That i7 is an early model and uses DDR3 at slower speeds? on my AMD the RAM is Clocked at 1666. Wonder if its a CPU extension which Intel have and AMD did not?
Also @SnoWHandS do you know which chipset your motherboard is running?

For my part i think it is a problem of not refreshed peripheral context during the game execution or direct sound functions poorly implemented in the game
the gap to solve this problem should not be huge.
I tried with several different sound cards (2 different usb headphone, 2 PCI internal sound cards, and 1 screen speakers) and it is always the same problem
the game is not able to change sound card while running. you have to reboot the game to get the sounds back
This appears to be resolved now
