What can I say? A recent upgrade to a full on PC from nothing but a laptop (around December 2016 to end of February 2017), game worked fine for a few weeks before I proceeded to play gmod for the next few months. Coming back to it 3 days ago I've had the same god damn error. The story goes like this, I'll launch the game (no parameters, no mods, vanilla af) after a good few minutes or loading into the editor the game will freeze my computer completely, can't alt tab, can't alt esc. After using control, alt, delete to get to my desktop I find that I can't click on anything and proceed to sign out via the Ctrl,alt,delete menu in order to regain control. Then, up until I do a full restart of my PC (only to repeat the process) it will freeze immediately at the menu screen. The status report found linked below is what I would get if I forced the game into window mode for it to do the same thing just without completely freezing my PC and enabling me to close the game.

Things I've tried (for reference):
-Uninstalling+re-installing: No change
-Switching to dev build (yeh, it was suggested somewhere): No change
-Verifying game cache via steam: No change
-Checking and updating drivers: All are up to date, No change
-Launched game in 32-bit: No change
-Launched Game windowed: PC doesn't completely freeze however crash still occurs

Planned Next steps if needed:
-Checking directx (apparently it's fucked up with recent windows 10 update)

Things I'm curious on:
-Process 64 bit: False

Anything, and I mean anything you can tell me will help me at this point. I've done 3 days of troubleshooting with no luck. At this point it's looking grim. Oh and please try to use simple language and shit, I'm no computing wiz and have little experience to this.
