As far as i can see the new Zombies (0.55 exp) cant turn into invisible ones and chase you and hit you from meters away. To reproduce you should let the the zombie stuck somewhere. They can stuck in a lot of things now. Like trees, building, rails, etc... after they stuck the rendered bodies still there, but an invisible one is chasing you where ever you go. You can only free from them if you kill the stucked zombie. Or you run inside a house and close the doors(the invisible on is still waiting you outside). Its verry annoying! Dont let this zombies go to stable. These are far more bad than the stable ones

The new zombies (0.55) are also teleporting when they roam the fields. They also do this when run to you. They moves aren fluid, but jumpy. They are 7 meters away and the next second they are already behind you. 64 ping on the exp UK server.
Same thing in 0.55 exp.

Hello! Same thing happend to me. I tried to solve the problem to change the parameters in the cfg file what is in the document folder(DayZ.cfg), but nothing happened. My desktop settings in 1920x1200. In DayZ i cant go above the mentioned resolution. My specs as follows:
Core I5 2500K, Gigabyte R9-290, 8gb Ram, Catalyst 14.4

This problem is still in stable 0.44. And if you open an invisble tuna or other fish food, it appears in the inventory menu, but after you eat it the inventory slot is taken. So you cant put anything in that slot. I tried it and it makes unusable those slots in my backpack.
In some light conditions your view going to darkle. Like you walk from a dark room on full sunny day and you cant see for a couple of seconds. Your view getting darker even if the sun is behind you. The opposite of this to look on the floor and your view getting brighter. Tested in 0.44. I know Rocket said they will use a new renderer, but i dont know that will solve this issue. Thats why i report here.
happend to me in 0.55 exp in Kamysovo police station. No zombies around standing on the second floor and my feets got a fracture. Nobody was anywhere close.
Same happened me a couple of times. When a guy try to fist fight with me. He was not even close to me on my screen and he hit me out unconscious. I shoot him 2 times in the head with shotgun before he ko-d me (he not died only bleeding) . In close range fist vs shotgun. Fist wins! Tested 0.45 experimental

Absolutely agree with the night time problem! I love playing night time in Arma3 and hate it in DayZ! I dont know the engine can handle the Arma3 light system, but it is a must have for DayZ!
As far as i know there is no electricity on cherno at the Apocalypse. So the full darkness is not the problem. The problem is the colors! Compare Arma3s night and DayZs. Huge difference! The street lamps shouldnt make lights at all the above mentioned reason.

I noticed if you push a hotkey longer than just a click. (about 2-3 sec) than the item change occur. If you run and do the item change your mates see your character make a scratch oneself movement sometimes and do it still you change another item on stand not running position.
I experienced the same, but i have tried the WS.ARMA.SU servers where they run a Wasteland by Sa-Matra mod V1. and my fps was great on those servers. I dont know how?!... Why is the servers influence the client side fps anyway? Im not here to make them advertisement, but if any of you have issues with wasteland maps try these servers and watch the difference.
Arma 2 had this feature, but those animations was very poor!
I can reproduce the problem!
I placed an opfor marksman near the fly tower on the airfield.
Placed not far from him all the bluefor ammo boxes. Every box do the same issue(try the basic ammo first).
The time is July 6 2035 02:15. The orange sparks shed the character and the other object after the box is sinked. You can check rear view and the orange highlight seenable on the mariens suit and some close surroundings. gfxcard asus radeon hd 7870

about the stealth, i played the night mission in beta and i reached the first house where the truck is parking. I did avoid the guards and placed a c4 near the truck. I set it 40 sec. And managed to escape from the scene undetected. When the bomb blown up all of the guards did shoot on me. But i was 50-100m away from the scene. So i think the stealth system need some attention.
I played wasteland 1.05 players was around 20-25. Aplha version 0.5.102571 not dev patch. Ati driver 13.1
The game was great at start, later it's started lagging. Im teaming up with a guy who just met, but he stops moveing sometimes (later apeared some meters away), later when he drove a car. I only seen that the car is go than stop in every 2 second(it felt like the time is stoping continusly). we gone together and checked a hilltop military base, where i killed an enemy. The game just started lagging super hard from there. I have seen a helicopter what is just stayed on the sky, later it moved a couple meters away. We began to run back to our car with the stranger who i team up with, and when i set in the cars back seat. The game screen freezed. Waited some minute than used alt+ctrl+del, when a program stop working messages apeared. I copy an attachement from this message also.
I used fraps 3.5.9 behind arma. I checked the fps, didnt drop under 18. Mostly it was 30-35. (the cpu usage was 50-60% the gpu 36-53%)
the red chain appeared once or twice but when it dissapeared the games still lagged. (i got ping almost every online game about 20-32ms.) When i chosed this server it wrote my ping is 30.
I used another monitor when played this mission(wacom cintiq 12wx) where i checked the gpu-usage statistics.
I hope i gave all the information what you need. The thing is i cant play online more than 30 minute with arma3 without some freezing. The situations never the same. I hope you will find a solutions of this issues.
Great game you have made there anyway, super work on 3d artist and designers. I cant say that to the network coders and engine programers.

If not this bug (suddenly all the player leave when the ai start these radio messages)
then you will face the seagull bug. When you can only do is flying on the map.
If this not sounds annoying enough, sometimes when you join in a official map you will be spawn the bottom left corner of the map. When you should swimm about 30-40 minute to reach the island.
I tried to play on the 2 offical map, but can play more then 10 minute, because of these thing.
So can you explain how should i recreate any issue reletad to multipayer aspect in these conditions?
i compare the older appcrash message with the new one what i uploaded before and the informations was the same. So maybe the freezes have some connection eachother

The guy dont know where the shots came from so he try to threaten the enemy with his firepower(my gues). I dont think on the battlefield i try to make aimed shots where the enemy are fireing on my position. Watch how much ammo the guy shoot for the invisible enemy. Just to show how i think suppresion fire is working in RL.
Edit:I rather waste ammunation than get a head shot when aiming. Everybody think he is a sniper in the watchtower, but in a real life i bet those guys dont dare to get out their head from cover. when the first bullet hit his position.
Edit2:A "trained" eye can see that the soldiers who "waste" so much ammo, dont know where the shots came from. However the enemy know they position and bullets hit the cover very close to the cameraguys head.
I don't understand why people are so much angry about this ticket. Also don't understand why these people think the upvoteing is a contest and who have the more upvotes on his ticket win. I only made this tickets to ask the devs to make game as realistic as possible. I don't want to see another cod or bf copy. I want a true millitary simulation game. With great and detailed graphic, with nice optimization, and belivable pshyics and sound. Fluid animation. I know a lot of arma fan don't want this game go mainstream. But face it if they tweak everything this game could be the best military game on market. Why is bad for the fans i dont get it.

In the first part i run and gun. (the running speed is almost the same as the real footage, but the character stops continously when shoot)
The second part i released the shift and shoot, but the character walked so slow he will be probably shoot down in the real footage. (need to mention at the 2 part of the video, i was on the highest walking speed and deffault key c pressed)

I know the character can shoot when press "c". So only thing is need to do to slow the character down when you start shooting. Now the character is only shaking when running and shooting. If BIS make the character movement fuild thats fine by me. Just spare us the shakines.

I have problem with the new ragdoll physics sytem. First of all the the ragdoll system activation have a couple of second delay. Second, the actors didnt collide with a lot of things like cars, ammobox, etc. I uploaded a video to demonstrate those issues.

i uploaded 2 pic. also. I tryed a various situations when played with the ragdolls. Here are my thoughts. The ragdoll effects turning on after some millisecond of death. (try this in the editor: put down a car, putting on over it a civilian about 200m. Set the civilian flying and watch what happen) The characters have not set its turning point correctly. Whatch the borken leg picture. It should look correct if that guy fall from the sky, but that poor fellow was killed by a short burst. And the ragdoll effects cannot conctact with any object no box, neighter cars nothing. Maybe with walls.

anyway the shells can stay on the ground, just need to add it a maximum counter like bullet holes. Try it on a wall shoot as much as you can on same wall. And you will see the earlier holes will dissapear. Anyway arma 2 had a mod for this purpose i bet if they dont make it the modders will do
because i havent see all of those weapons in real life i can't tell witch drop out shell, but on those weapons i talk about can be seen a shell ejecting hole. Why do you make holes if the shells didnt eject on out it. check the guns. i dont have time to looking for after every weapon what is in the game.

I think this issue solved, you can close this ticket. I tested and i think the alarm system works fine by now.
it happened me once, but i cant have the controll back. I tried the iron sight, so as tapping the s button without any effect. Also try to tapping ctrl twice so as c button.

i uploaded another screenshot about the problem. So if you want to reproduce. Go to editor. spawn a blufor boat with minigun (this is the player). Set the time is 3:00 with default date. if you preview you should be the gunner position. Now change that to driver and you should see the monitor error. + there is a small indicator on the screen what is dissapear when you start the boat engine. (but this is another bug)

the lights dissapear at 02:45, but its still dark out there. the lights should seenable till 4-5 am.
just be awared the lights work fine at 23:00 but at 3:00 can not be seenable. but there is also dark out there at that time
I can reproduce the prolem. go to editor, and spawn a rifleman, and an empty ifrit hmg. preview. First go to the back seat. Than change that to the gunner seat. Look on the monitor once (numpad 0 default). Now change to the driver seat. and you should see the driver camera angle is looking on the car wheel, not the window. you can change it wilt alt+look, but it will jump back on wheel after you release alt. need to mention the RCWS HMG is works fine now, the issu now only reletad to ifrit
i uploaded the reverse light spots so you can check them, need to mention i dont find the ifrit reverse light now, but when i reported this issue the ifrit light was seenable. Only the quad bike havent got reverse light.
can not reproduce the problem again. The vehicle damaged and the pilots die now
some completion needed when the sound isnt syncronized with the animation. The pozition is full standed, gun is not at shoulder, and a slowest speed of walking is ther problematic one
