Sorry, further testing showed that the variable _muzzle was the problem, and simply using a different variable negates the issue.

Crashed 20 seconds after completing the mission download. Are you guys goin to help?
I turned off read-only from my Arma 3 folder and crashed as the mission file was downloading.

I just set my entire Steam folder to "Full Control" then loaded the mods and ran the game. This time, I selected my slot, clicked continue, it took me to the same splash screen as before, except this time it crashed when I move my mouse before I could click on the "Join the Fight!" button.
Do you have anymore suggestions?

Because August in Southern Hemisphere is winter so it should be chiller than its January.
...If what the config does is the same thing I imagine.
These are max and min values regardless of the time of the year, what this has to do with hemisphere?
@KlausHerberth The fix for paa should have been there already, can you give more more details, a repro?

Okay, I spoke to one of our server wizards and this is what I got:
This problem is facilitating teamkill trolling on the official servers. Trolls teamkill until the spawns are depleted, then camp the spawn point teamkilling new players and players who use the exploit to return to the game.

This ticket does not actually show the crash which I experienced because I was unable reproduce it in a new mission. Instead it shows how testVar failes to load from "cfgTestSave" and is null. Trying to use this null variable probably is what lead to crash

Thanks for the suggestion, however it is a Blu tooth headphone not USB. any other suggestions?
Also if antivirus decided to quarantine dll (happened to me) it wont let it back
The pond is special case it is broken left right and center hence not officially supported in A3
I'm assigning this to myself in order not to lose it, and I'm aware of the issue but the fix might be too complicated or unsafe. I will have another look but no guarantees

If that is the intended behaviour then there is a different bug, which is that it does not always work and i will try to create a simple test case to reproduce it.
I can double-check (this may take a bit), but since we use Steam for updates and such it would be pretty wild if there was no connection.
In each of my repro tries the mortar spawns next to the quad, not causing it to explode.

Normal objects have the exact same issue.
Spawn thousands of them in the same spot, and delete tons of them within a single frame -> Game freezes.

Simulation state of units should always be synced.
If server disables it, it should be disabled on all clients too.
