If you load mission C_EB (Game Over, the final East Wind campaign mission) and teleport to the Marid on the beach south of Zaros and try to enter the driver's compartment, you will get a black screen every time and no internal cockpit. Turning out puts the player's view somewhere inside the hatch. External view works fine.

At first I thought this was just a leftover bug but I've had it happen on other spawned MSE-3 Marids that were "damaged but not destroyed." I am using a Track-IR but checked a good Marid vs a bad one to make sure the TrackIR adjustment wasn't a factor...

The commander's internal 3d view is also disabled for whatever reason and using numberpad-enter alternates between the video-screen view and the external view only...
