This problem also affects the use of BIS_fnc_exportEditorPreviews, the resulting images are very lightened. As we can see, the BI author who makes Editor Previews for vanilla assets has no such problems. Can he please share a secret so that we don't have to keep using batch proces in photoshop to correct images?

The problem is that inAreaArrayIndexes throws an error on profiling branch if you pass it an array of marker strings as the left-hand input. This works correctly on stable 2.18.
Confirmed as fixed closing.
This functionality is required for a lot of custom game modes focused more around dynamic player groups than predefined scenario factions. Mods like WasteLand, Rogue Extract, Everon Life etc could all benefit from the factions system being more dynamic and factions being creatable at runtime via scripts, most of these kind of mods just have some janky work-around solution like repurposing squads/groups as player factions.
Anyone saying there is no need for this is simply thinking too small or only speaking for their own needs.

It was never fixed for me, and for players on my server.
I have an i9 with 36 Gb RAM, RTX 3080 Ti and a 1 Tb NVMe drive and another 2 Tb NVMe drive.
And i tried many hosting ways, at home, game server, cloud and dedicated.
My situation is I turn off BE or no Arma server.

I thought it was done by design, but then I saw the “fixed” prefix in the changelogs for that change, maybe it should be audible too in MP?

Have you found a fix.. have the exact same problem.
I just tried removе the sound speed simulation in the B_Plane_Fighter_01_F sound sets, after tests the sounds started to appear without the huge delay you was able see in video in comment above ↑↑↑↑↑

Maybe there's something wrong with the speed of sound formula for airplanes, I hope that the found info will help to fix this bug sooner

Today I found the same issue on another server managed by some one else. If someone CANNOT replicate this please also comment here because I would really like to pinpoint if this is something happening on specific cases because as of now I find this bug on every (updated) server (Which I assume is not correct as I can see other people still playing on servers around the world. They cant be all Windows servers or non-dedicated servers).
