Have you tried to do a clean install of your OS and the game? Have you checked your current OS for any faulty installations/corrupted files by running sfc/scannow?
And have you tried to delete your documents DayZ folder and verify the game data? (Make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled before doing so).

This can probably be fixed easily by updating BIS_fnc_setUnitInsignia to use the new string-based selection targeting for setObjectTextureGlobal, instead of searching for and then hard-saving the current uniform's insignia index.

How is a player ID going to help for a server side issue? I rented a 10 slot nearly 24hrs ago and still cannot use it. Same error code.

This would be a massive upgrade for the game. The current hardware Anti-Aliasing method isn't very good and consumes a lot of resources for poor results, and I can't even tell if FSR1 actually works or not, as my frames and visual quality don't seem to be effected whether it's enabled or not. FSR 3 / DLSS 3 / XeSS 1.3 (I think 1.3 is the latest) and TAA options would be a major step up in visual quality, and give performance back for a lot of users (especially on consoles where FSR3 can make a big difference to their performance).

It also doesn't seem to get removed when someone falls unconscious while bandaging. For instance, you can shoot an AI in the leg and then keep shooting until they fall unconscious while they try to bandage it. You won't be able to bandage it, but you can verify in GM that they are still bleeding. This can even be reproduced without peer clients.
