I was pushing a vehicle, and it rolled back against me and ran me over. So far, everything is fine; it's an accident that happens in the game. However, when I returned to the accident site, my body was no longer there. I searched everywhere possible, including where the car was parked, which wasn’t very far away (just a few steps). It took me about 20 minutes to get back to the site, so I don’t believe my body could have disappeared in that time.
