I'm having issues with Nitrado again. I contacted them about my server being stuck in restart and they haven't replied. I've made no changes so I know the blame is not on me. I was extremely disappointed after the first half an hour that they hadn't sorted it, so I'm fuming now it's been 5 hours! It's not like I messaged out of hours, either. It's a working day so it's not unreasonable to expect they sort issues like this as they happen. They have removed the CHAT option, too, which was great before as they would address the problems while you waited. Frustratingly, I can't change provider. I'm paying £50 a month but have to use the company that treats me with contempt. It's not how it should be.

Can Bohemia have a serious conversation with them or allow us to use a different server provider? By allowing them to treat us this way also shows contempt towards your server owners. You can do better than this, and we deserve better than this.

I've looked at rollback, but I don't know what to select. There's three versions of the files. I can't get it wrong as a lot of work by a lot of people is at stake!

15 hours and still nothing.

DayZ has become low priority because they're hosting Palworld servers. That's not OK.

It's now 24 hours since I reported the problem to Nitrado and I've not been given any support or had my server fixed, which has broken due to no fault of mine. At this point, we're effectively using a server provider that offers no support when their servers fail.

Sorry for the running update, but it's important for highlighting the severity of the problem. They've not sent out any emails to say they're experiencing problems with a major delay in support, so I'm guessing this is now the normal level of support they plan on giving.

I've looked at rollback, but I don't know what to select. There's three versions of the files. I can't get it wrong as a lot of work by a lot of people is at stake!

Use the last one available prior to this accident happening.
Better having a server rolled back than no server at all.
Ask them for a full refund of time lost once you get an answer.

Update: 48 hours after requesting support, they've responded.

I've also noticed that they've moved my server. I was not informed and I'm guessing this is how it broke. I know they hadn't moved it before because the server gets removed from the favourites when the ip changes. I also know they didn't move the server to fix it because they haven't fixed it. I had to roll back and players lost progress. In hardcore, that's a lot of effort wasted! They moved it without my permission and while people were playing, possibly accidentally, but didn't offer support for 48 hours when it didn't work properly.

We really need other options for server providers.

According to Nitrado, you have requested the move. Could you have possibly requested this some time prior and it got just processed now?

No, I requested the move because they claimed they hadn't moved it. I wanted it off the machine they were using because it has happened twice now and I can't risk it happening again. The server stopped, then when it came back, it was not on my favourites. That happens after a change of IP. I really need it to stay in Favourites. It's difficult getting a player base as it is without extra issues.

In short, they moved it when I requested it. They also moved it twice without asking me, or at least, did something that crashed the server and made the favourites section forget it.

I really need them to stop messing me around.

Just to make sure. Are you aware that moving the game server to another machine always means that the IP:Port will be changed? This is how this works.

The change can also occur when:

Owner decided to restore backup -> can lead to server installing on a different machine
Owner decided to reinstall the game -> can lead to server installing on a different machine

If the server gets installed on a different machine under the circumstances above, the IP will be changed as well.

This is the year Nitrado & Bohemia will killl DayZ, it started at Christmas.
Nitrado is the worst. 27 days of random dropouts for all DayZ servers totaling at least 80 hours and 51 minutes of downtime that we customers pay for & when the legalities are pointed out they threaten to close your account.

Yes. I didn't ask them to move it the first two times. I asked them to move it after the second time because they say they didn't move it. Both those times the server stopped and got stuck in a loop and was removed from everyone's favourites. I hadn't changed anything. I asked them to move it because there's something very wrong with the machine they're using.

@SoulsAggro that is just insane reading that… nitrado is awful

@Tybro 5 years using them too, that's not the worst one, one server had 3 log files glitched on it for 3 years and they were aware, refused to fix it, I was specifically told "We have more important things to worry about", last month I gave up and closed another server, feels like Bohemia's letting Nitrado kill the game

@Geez Now I'm hearing of a problem with wiping servers. And they know about it, but it's still taking far too long to get a response from them. 18 hours is ridiculous. That's 36 times longer than it should take. We need the live chat function back, especially now they have so many problems that need support.
They did send a work around for the wipe issue, but it didn't work and completely screwed with my server, which I needed working as I had a window of freedom to test stuff.
We need you to start taking this a bit more seriously. Nitrado aren't the only server providers in existence, so why are we being limited?

@Geez Nitrado have now wiped the wrong server. They've made assumptions based on my previous messages and wiped. Because they aren't replying to messages quickly enough, they're getting confused with what is being asked. They need to respond quickly or make a chat option. You can't have a chat about current problems if the replies are days apart.

This is getting silly. Please help.

So Bohemia and Nitrado acknowledge this but ignore that Nitrado blackmailed me when I pointed out how illegal their refusal to refund stolen runtime was.

I have experienced a significant amount of downtime between a little before Christmas to now, resulting in almost a complete loss of my player base. I am not one of those people who open a ticket right away (seeing as it takes Nitrado sometimes 4-5 days to answer any issues I have anyway). I usually opt to go to their discord and ask questions first, such is if anyone else has experienced the issue I am having an if so any recommendations they have on how to fix it. However, Nitrado’s discord is severely lacking. You can’t even mention any issues occurring or they threaten to ban you off their discord for “promoting toxicity”.
How is it promoting toxicity to call out bad service and behavior in a company? How are we supposed to get the help we need, while being forced to leave out extremely important details so we don’t get our accounts terminated for promoting toxicity. Not to mention, when an issue occurs, they refuse to take care of it in an efficient and timely manner, resulting in a LOT of angry customers. And rightfully so because we pay for a service that is no longer being provided. Not only that, but they continue to host new games while DayZ gets thrown on the back burner while their priority switches to the new games they are hosting and tickets take over a week to get sorted.
We are left to fend for ourselves because a service we pay for is not being provided and we are left no other option for a provider. There are countless times recently I have wanted to throw the towel in and close my 3 servers, because this is becoming way too stressful to be worth it for me. I work hard to repopulate my server only for population to get decimated for no fault of my own. It’s an ongoing issue that has yet to be addressed and I’m getting very tired. PLEASE start making progress towards allowing another provider. We beg of you! Thank you for taking the time to read this

I would like to also like to provide my feedback using Nitrado for many years.

I ran more then 13+ servers at once for a few years providing a place for other gamers to also enjoy at no cost to them. Prices DOUBLED with NO warning and SUPPORT an SERVICE went down. Nitrado support times increased to days replies for them to give a default reply and then leave you for days again this is not enough for issues. They don't add time loss due to lack of support and the length of a temp fix for server issues. There's been an issue with NEW server installs using the wrong date and time format in the web interface this was pointed out by me on that day and I spent 13 hours pointing users to the fix at no charge to nitrado not once was this mentioned as a fix staff knew about it talked about it did nothing. I believe this is still the case today.

There is a reason the word Monopoly is blacklisted from their discord because users use that term so often and its so true they have all of these contracts but provide garbage support and we have nowhere to go no other company to make it fair were stuck and they know this.

I had 13+ servers as stated above I now run 3 what dose this have to say about the service and support for the value we pay.

Please take this with a grain of salt and as feedback from MY experience

One of their reps said the reason for the global outage was because I did not stop the server before I uploaded a file. Blamed me for the entire Nitrado server crash.... I can never get them to respond in a quick, or timely manner. Then there is their messed up payment system. My server was down for almost a week because their payment method kept failing and I could not add a pay for the server.

Can I get some sort of reply for this? It's now been over 24 hours since they wiped a server I didn't authorise a wipe on and they've not answered me. All I'm after is the ability to be answered quickly. I get that they're busy, but that's something they need to sort out. It's been busy for a while, so they either need less customers or more staff. Also, what's the possibility of a new server host being provided and if not, what's the plan to make sure DayZ customers are getting support within a fair time frame (1/2 hour normal time, 1 hour peak times).

@Geez I am happy for people jumping on this and sharing their experience, however, I'm still awaiting a reply from you from a week ago. I've also messaged since then about another issue. Also, I've still not heard back from them after their message telling me about wiping the wrong server. That will be 48 hours soon. I appreciate you asking for more information, but as far as my issue goes, you should already have it.

I got a reply, but it was over 100 hours after I messaged, and it didn't have any answers. I really could do with some support here. Is there somebody I can talk to from Bohemia as I appreciate this isn't for this type of communication?

@Geez I logged this issue on 9th February and it's now 19th March. Can we please start talking about it regularly to sort it out? I've not had a reply from you in over a week, either. It would really mean a lot if this was taken seriously.

@Geez As you can see, we are already in a conversation. Can we clear that one up first? There's lots to talk about, but I need previous questions and problems answered and solved.

To recap, they kept on messing around with my server. Why did they move it twice? You tried to respond with a question, which I answered. You have not replied to that.

please provide also the screenshots of the initial request/communication that followed up to that event and ticket ID's (Nitrado's end). Also have you tried to ask Nitrado why did they move the server twice?

@Geez Yes. This is the overall problem; Nitrado are not replying to me. I've not been rude, so there's no reason to be ignoring me. Communication is so slow it's mentally exhausting. More and more is happening and I'm getting lost as to where I'm at. Quick responses from them and you would help things be a lot clearer. They then went on and wiped the wrong server because they weren't following the conversation and keeping up to date, but we'll get to that. I'll post screenshot in a bit.

The support system is currently inaccessible! Also, why do I need to provide pictures? They should be able to access my account with just my username. If they are not cooperating with you, surely alarm bells should be ringing 😆

We do need to create a consolidated report that contains all the relevant info that we can present to Nitrado to try to improve the situation. We do not have access to the account nor the conversations.
Also I have sent the notification in regards to the system being inaccessible to the responsible people and they will forward it to Nitrado.

@Geez They have responded, finally. I'm assuming this was pressure from you, so thank you!

Moving forward, we now need to be sure support will be provided. As it stands, this is far too much hassle for both of us as I shouldn't need help from you to get help from them. Have they made any assurances about support for DayZ servers? This isn't an isolated case, either, as my support query ended up being multiple support requests, which were caused by the slow responses!

I understand that you won't be able to provide too many details, but I do want to be reassured that when I next put in a support request, I will get a quick response. As we don't have a choice of server providers, the one that we're forced to use needs to be fit for purpose, which I'm sure you'll agree.

My server is currently in the top 25 1PP servers on Xbox (sometimes top 10 at peak times!), including Official servers, so I know Community is important to the game's success. All we ask is to be treated fairly, and not just as cash cows.

Thank you for your hard work so far. I know I might seem overly passionate (and a pain in the arse), but I absolutely love this game and want what is best.

It still would help us if you could provide the things I initially requested so we could present the case to Nitrado and try to work out an improvement of the situation.

If you currently have an active ticket, which is not being responded to within reasonable time (or you are going to in the future), Please send the Nitrado support ticket ID right here and we will try to check with Nitrado as to why is that ticket not being responded to within reasonable time. Right now, this is just for the active tickets, not the tickets that have been dealth with/responded to.

841 days I've had log files stuck on my account, not just a server, my account, they only appear through API calls but I can only get 1 .ADM file and it's always 20mb-50mb because it's not making a new file, it's just adding on to it. The 4 log files that are over 3 years old are stuck attatched to the database for ni3860267_3 the api call that shows it is https://api.nitrado.net/services/:id/gameservers/


It's been nearly a year since I was told a feature that is advertised and I am not receiving yet every other server is, isn't a priority or important, by one of their developers

If their security is this bad that 238 days later they're still working on it, should you really be forcing us to use the most absolute worst service provider in the world?
No other server only gets only one .ADM file

I noticed you haven't responded to the thread about them falsely advertising to console servers

The IP is irrelevant and I let the server expire once again but if I want more than two servers, the third server (with the database username ni3860267_3) always has the log files glitched to it, I even waited a month before re-adding a third server and it still appeared there.

We can't even wipe servers at the moment, I've attempted 5x on the server that just expired & afterwards everyone logs back in where they were last.

and when I view the file browser it tells me both, that I don't have access to the file browser & that there are no files in the file browser.

But on the advertising page it directly tells me that my server "In a flash, your server will be online and ready for you to journey through the collapsed civilization of DayZ" But 2 hours of nothing isn't a "flash"

The email specifically says it has been installed and is now available to me.

When trying to make a ticket, it tells me to try again later. (Took 7 attempts)

At 5:13pm AEDT my server finally had files.
3 hours and 13mins from being told it was installed.

yeah i had that issue with the new terms and conditions being unavailable to view. It is completely unacceptable and we need some competition for them so they can stop taking us all for a ride

Nitrado experienced some sort of outage due to technical difficulties. Unfortunately this was something they could not prevent. We apologise for any inconvenience

This is pretty accurate to out current circumstances:

Picture a popular diner, known for its juicy, mouthwatering burgers—a favorite among the town's residents. Z, the diner's management, is well aware of the X's erratic deliveries but chooses to watch from the sidelines, risking the diner's reputation and the trust of its patrons.

The once bustling diner now faces a dwindling crowd, with regulars contemplating whether they will bother returning for another burger.

I had issues when server was highly populated and slow log update, got in contact with nitrado support and they did the classic “backend changes”

After this I got new IP, so I guess it’s a new host machine!
But now the server is completely unplayable, massive desync, yellow and red icon. Even with only 10 players online. Well now the logs are faster.

I’ve messaged them in the ticket w/o response. Last message from them was the 2/4-24
My community is raging and I’m losing members every day due to this issue.

After this I got new IP, so I guess it’s a new host machine!

I'm having the same problem. The server performance is just awful there's a red icon on the left side. It's unplayable, and now it's restarting outside of the scheduled restart times. Hey there! Any progress on resolving this issue? We're still experiencing daily problems around the same time.

This is the lack of support I keep mentioning. I messaged them with my problem and they have replied with an excuse rather than a solution. Plus they've added on a bit which I didn't query. It's not good enough. Their servers were not able to keep up with the demand so we were having problems. Or, they were messing with something. Either way, to suggest I need to do more restarts is absurd. I didn't need to do more restarts before the problem, and anyhow, I do the required 6 a day, as they suggest, already.

As a community, we feel we should have the chance to work with a company that provides stable servers, and if they do go wrong, work hard to correct it. If they keep going wrong, we should be able to move to a provider that can meet our requirements. Currently, we just have to accept it and come to you to get help. We shouldn't be treated as cash cows.

Our team was unable to find anything unusual, the resource consumption is okay and everything seems fine.
If the server performance icon appears, we suggest to check custom mission scripts. The problem might lie in the server modifications.

We've checked logs and it seems that the CE is wrongly setup, there are a lot of warnings:

As a community, we feel we should have the chance to work with a company that provides stable servers, and if they do go wrong, work hard to correct it. If they keep going wrong, we should be able to move to a provider that can meet our requirements. Currently, we just have to accept it and come to you to get help. We shouldn't be treated as cash cows.

This is the lack of support I keep mentioning. I messaged them with my problem and they have replied with an excuse rather than a solution. Plus they've added on a bit which I didn't query. It's not good enough. Their servers were not able to keep up with the demand so we were having problems. Or, they were messing with something. @Geez my ip is in the post above. They're now taking an anecdotal route and telling me why other servers lag rather than working out why mine is at times. I know the reason and they know the reason, but they keep trying to fob me off with generic possible problems, which don't relate to my server.
