I recommend playing a 3rd person server to see how your player is actual moving. You'll see the inertia movement and have a better feel for how to plan your movements

@Kathosky Thats what some of the IP geo locators do. There was a house in Kentucky that kept getting the FBI sent to because the entire state defaulted to the homes location. Now it's in the middle of a lake in Kentucky.

That would of been a bug prior, there is nothing in dayz that can be repaired/patched beyond worn.

what most likely happen, is you/server/anything lagged out, that's when the car went airborne.. but in the mean time you kept pressing forward, or at the least didn't brake. car hit a tree/object and you died from that.

There are only a couple servers I play, and half of them are in the EU so my ping is 150+ which causes other issues

To keep them from being too overkill, limit what clothes they can go over. can't be wearing a giant puffy jacket under it. NBC that is. Rain coats should go over everything though larger clothes could be nerfed as you require to keep the front unbuttoned because you're now too big.. - Personal experience..

I once had a barn door ingest me when I was running from a hoard of 10+ zeds.. this was before they disabled uncon attacks.
So I was stuck in a wide open barn door while they just grouped on me and beat me to death. Best way to die with zero control 😢

I get this almost everytime a server restarts and I try to rejoin. It'll attempt to rejoin then crash to launcher.
It's currently best to close the game and relaunch from the launcher during restarts.

Especially since the lore is they are supposed to have bad eye sight (I assume hearing too...) though more realistically they have super human hearing and can see through objects often!

It's a feature.. keep your finger over the ESC key if you're in a questionable situation like that.

I've had this on both official and modded.
Basically everytime I exit a server the crash prompt pops up.

After a little more play, I've noticed it does this also when you're loading individual ammo. Like if you want to alternate slugs/buckshot in your shotgun it moves all around for each ammo loaded.
This is really annoying, I still think pulling the gun should move the inventory but I wouldn't be upset if it's reverted.

I thought this was a feature of 1.18 I noticed this in the first 1.18 exp release.

I wish the engine could handle more render distance. I max it out in the config file every time since I'm on a 3070 but most servers have this limited really low.
Sadly this also just gives me a disadvantage though.
Hiding in a field, you think you're in grass but you're in plain sight for anyone that has their render distance turned down, or is just outside the bubble.

I had some stuttering on Spaggie Green last night, It's vanilla...
I didn't have full freezing like in the clip but there was some big 1 or 2 second stutters which I assumed were due to my high ping 130-160.

Dunno if my settings were locked in as I had this set before the update, but mine worked OK.
