I was wondering if someone can explain the mechanics of tree branches and bushes tanking rounds. It seems very sporadic. I've been killed sitting in a bush or under a tree on many occasions, yet a friend of mine emptied almost an entire mag of 5.45x39 at me from about 2 meters away and the bush tanked the lot.
