So I mainly play on official servers as they provide the flavor of gameplay I enjoy out of DayZ. I enjoy vanilla, high population, and chaos - and official servers give me exactly that.
I have 160 hours of play time right now and that number would be going up if it weren't for the recent constant disconnects I've been dealing with. It makes the game completely unplayable and it seems completely unjustifiable from my findings. I am connecting to servers on my coast of the US, and they are some of the lowest ping servers listed on DayZ for me.
I have been pinging the server ip for hours on command prompt and the latency never surpasses 120ms and for the overwhelming majority of the time (>99%) my ping is less than 60ms. I see no spiking on my command prompt pings when the disconnects happen, so I don't see a correlation between my connection and these disconnects. I have noticed that the disconnects occur more frequently when servers are highly/fully populated.
I have tried other east coast official servers, updating my drivers(GPU, CPU, Network Adapters), turning off power saving, reinstalling the game, updating my router firmware, clearing router cache, resetting my modem, resetting my routers, not leaving the launcher open while the game is open... I've tried so many things.
I have NEVER had issues with any other game, and I play a lot of latency sensitive games like Battle Royals, MOBAs, and other shooters.
As you may be able to tell, I really want this resolved so I can actually play the game... any advice or further information would be great.
