so just the other day i tried playing a dayz modded server, it wouldnt actually put me in the loading screen and was just stuck on a black screen with my windows cursor just infinitely loading. then i got blue screened with the windows stop code: KERNAL_HEAP_MODE_CORRUPTION. i restarted my pc and tried loading up a different server and was met with the same error code. i didnt check my task manager to see what was failing at first. I did some quick troubleshooting checking the gpu power supply etc, at first i thought it might be the ram because it has failed before in the past. I tried other games which worked completely fine which was odd, my computer is old as well so i thought it was failing on me. I ended up taking my computer the same day to a tech guy i know, i completely reset windows twice with the guy and the problem still happened. we put in another 16 gb ram to see if the ram was an issue and even with the 32 gb on the other monitor before it would blue screen the memory would max out to almost 100% and stay there until the bluescreen. then we thought well it could just be dayz because everything on my system has been troubleshooted. i asked a friend to load up dayz and his worked on vanilla and modded, ive uninstalled workshop mods completely and reinstalled and it still happens. not too sure what it could be now tbh keep in mind i have 50 hours and this the first time its happened and the only game it happens on.

Hello SANE.
KERNAL_HEAP_MODE_CORRUPTION can occur due to faulty/corrupted/outdated drivers. Please make sure that you are using newest possible versions of your software drivers.

i figured out a fix, im not sure why it continued to happen even after resetting my computer but it was actually the dayz game itself. this is the guide that helped me https://steamcommunity.com/app/221100/discussions/5/1643170903492340636/
