I think Bohemia should remove the squad commanding hotkeys, which are ',1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0, and give them a single key with an improved interface.
If that were to be acomplished, it would also give them the possibility of using 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 as weapon selection keys.
' (or ~, depending on your keyboard.) - Squad commanding UI.
1 - Main weapon
2 - Secondary weapon
3 - Launcher
4 - Binoculars
5 - Grenade type
6~0 - Extra keys for future use.
F1 ~ F12 Still should be used for selecting units.
I also think the squad commanding UI should be improved.

Important: I also noticed that you can zoom in to absurd levels when aiming downsights. Binoculars and scopes are simply nothing compared to this.
This also happens whenever you use the "Play in window" option on steam.
Here's a very clear demonstration, not only on the problem related to the hands, but the soldier's skeleton in general:

Please read what I stated above. Doing that in the beginning of every mission is annoying, and very repetitive if you're testing a mission.
Everytime I start a mission, I have to press W+S and Cx2 in order to get my soldier to move the way I want, which is very annoying if you're testing a mission.
Of course, if it were controlled by a slider it would be great.
EDIT:
It could also be used to simulate aircraft turbulence.
This also happens when you put on a silencer on some weapons.
It was my hope that those two would shoot from that position, defending us; They got killed pretty easily though.
If you put them there through moveInCargo they'll sit like the other AI in the screenshot. If you use the attachTo command however, they will behave like any infantry on foot, though obviously attached to the vehicle.
The problem is that even though they were correctly placed in third person perspective, once I went into first person they looked like they weren't even in the truck.
I absolutely agree with this. Fast roping is awesome and pretty effective.
We did have two variations back in early Alpha, but they got removed.
I think it should be brought back.
I agree. Having a working UnitCapture function would improve creativity and simplicity by a huge margin.
Note: You don't even need to be as near as I am in the video. If you're 20m away from him and keep on sprinting, he'll be able to shoot you, but he won't hit you.
I think E is the key used for "Fast Forward" in jets, and since they aren't in the BETA, we can't change it's keybindings as of now. But still, I think this needs to be fixed.

I would love this feature as well.
They could even add a separate hotkey. Default for lights is L. Inside lights could be CTRL + L.
Massively agree with this idea. This could bring MANY possibilities, even non-combat scenarios.
Even if ArmA couldn't handle the probable amount of extra polys Spintires has, I think it could easily handle Parallax mapping (Which, if made correctly, would look just like actual mud).
Instead of removing the feature, BIS should simply blur the outside of the scope. Don't blur with something like a DoF, but a consistent blur. Like the one in Battlefield 2 Project Reality.

Probably a lot less intensive on the PC than PiP.
We could at least have the Crowd formation that there is in VBS2.
This would be bloody brilliant, and I'm not even British.
I really wouldn't mind this, even if it was HEAVILY scripted.
I also noticed the middle part of his arm gets fatter.

Minor note: I think this should be fixed because this movements feels very unnatural.
Right, the way I normally lose my rotors is usually when I'm flying too low that I accidentally touch the ground (Not hard enough for the helicopter to explode, and soft enough for it to continue flying. Though I'm sure it can be achieved other ways). After that the helicopter (An AH-9 or MH-9) keeps flying without anything for a considerable distance, as I still have good control over the helicopter.
Another thing: If you're going at 170 km/h and the AH-9 or MH-9's propellers hit a pole, no damage will be done at all.
I'm not sure, but I think the OPFOR's helicopters cannot lose their propellers. I'm not 100% sure.
If I'm allowed to be fancy, some servers could set the FoV server-side/globally so everyone has the same advantages or disadvantages. (Though it would be pointless since people have different monitors, which makes a huge difference depending on your FoV)
Important note:
Pressing E makes the helicopter tilt forward. Even though it's not assigned to anything. Pretty annoying considering my preference of hotkeys is E for right pedal and Q for right pedal.
They could at least make the scopes more detailed. Right now (an in previous games) they are just a black hole with ""stuff for aiming"".
BIS could add some textures around to replace the blackness, add maybe some slight dirtyness layers and a little bit of a light-blue shade to represent the glass, so they won't look so dull. Of course, that should be the case if there isn't a way to do it like it is suggested here.
If you're standing still, you change weapons quickly. Roughly 2~3 sec.
When walking - Roughly 3~4 sec.
When combat pacing - Roughly 4~5 sec.
Just giving out an idea.
I bet ArmA 3's snake AI will beat CoD's fish AI.
That's why it should be optional, Kalle82.
Definitely should be an optional thing in difficulty settings. I'm not a fan of it, but it is definitely very realistic. You can't look at the sun in real life.
Though this isn't real life, and we should be able to turn it off when we get annoyed by it in the difficulty.
