Add the OPTION to permanently hide error messages
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Many people may agree that error messages are annoying.

Sometimes the script error messages hardly make any difference at all during the gameplay, in a mission. If you're playing a mission, you hardly care about what's going wrong with the game sometimes. SOMETIMES.

I would love to have an option to disable that enormous black rectangle that shows up nearly in front of my ironsights.

Remove showScriptErrors from your startup line and don't complain about feature you've enabled yourself.

What startup line?

Launch parameters in Steam's Arma 3 properties window. DarkWanderer is right, script error messages are invisible unless you manually enable them.

I don't have that line. Is it possible to set it to false?

@AD2001 are you on DEV branch? DEV branch has mandatory error reporting, you can't switch it off.

Yes, I am. That's kinda stupid.

DEV branch is a test branch, there is nothing stupid about that.
