The AI doesnt walk through objects in my cases as there is nothing blocking. In any case the theory sounds plausible.

"normally" yes (at last as it seems and would make sense). however especially with short distance move orders, close to objects, only ASL seems to work (in A3 - prior to A3 it hasnt been a problem)
I had to use ASL with move/doMove to get AI to move at all. Could be related

its a config tweak and is per weapon class. reyhard could do it in A3 itself if he agrees. otherwise you need to make your own mod, or script it with setWeaponReloadingTime

To expand the purpose a bit: We want/have to replace the mod list in the main menu. The functionality is hardcoded, so we need a scripted replacement. Unfortunately currently this is not fully achievable. Hence the request.

@Wulf running a config dump that scans the complete config space - the config viewer may trigger the same. or just use the internal version as its adds a tag for empty/missing strings
