The speed parameter for cut layers/title effects adjust fade in, display duration and fade out all in one.

However when you want to display something longer (and not be limited to "PLAIN NOFADE"), say a longer text, the speed parameter will great very long fade in and fade out times that make text hardly readable/visible.

As such there should be a way just to set/affect the display time.
