its really known bug. What is most strange here? It is not fixed since i buyed this game (more than year ago) and i believe even more time before. Its one of most gamebraking bug, which makes combined operation impossible, even if they add tons of new features, they will be just like making "sh*t" shine.

Sorry, but i'm downvoting all copies. BIS know about this isse, its obvious. I hate it really, same as you, it really need fix, but creating double report same problem doesnt make fix faster. Also read the rules of feedback tracker - use search as well.

So i quicly reply to THEM : When i'm in car and all windows are closed, i can hear horn of my car, and all other cars THATS WHY HORN IS MOUNTED IN CARS, so other drivers can hear it as well - BUG. As for Nigh Vision sound - it not present, only in virtual arsenal can be hearable - BUG, if i fly helicopter, jet and someone shoot to me giuded missles i cant hear alarm sound (it can be hearable only in third person) - BUG, if There is critical damage in tracked or flying vehicles, there is no sound as well - BUG, when flying too low there is no sound - BUG. So please tell me how sick someone must be to downvote it? Damm trolls. now even on simply feedback tracker.... their parents should burn their PC's down :D

delete from the command line -filepatching, THEN in launcher check the option about filepatching. It seems you have 2 x same option. Try to diable it at all, go to server, if it wont let you in, try with option filepatching MARKED ONLY IN LAUNCHER.

I got answer - they released today second RC update - that what was downloading. Problem is, PhysX on the previous was better - there wasnt rocket tanks....

Jeezus Christ! How many mods are you using? :D Ita may be their fault - updater/launcher is checking them every time you launche the game. Some of them had be somehow secured against modify/update, and it was updating endless. As for now, try to move ALL mods to diferent folder, so launcher cannot detect them (only vanilla game should appear/launch) and check if that helps.

Yeah, its guy from Frostbite, electronic Arts.... It talk for themselves - EA games never had problem with performance, on any of my PC's - i had 4 of them, begining with very old, oudated hardware till now, newer meet bad optimalisation. Now they are talking about Vulcan API - they would keep quiet if this could be so bad as someone thinking. UPVOTED.

Well, my opinion is LITTLE diferent, but i can agree with mickeyman in some (most) of points;

  • 12,7mm ammo is designed to break such glass, only thing you need is ammo designed for that (there is firing ammo, armor piercing, HE, and normal ball). For destroying bullet prof glass, you need AP rounds, but glass will stand for at least 3 hits, 5 will make a hole (textures of pierced glass are nicely welcomed, but still not present :/ ).
  • As of wheels thing - there is something that is missed in comments - most of MODERn (in game is 2035, so i think ALL) MRAP's are equipped with wheels that can withstand penetration of the round (with hole). Wheels are very tough, even with pierced tire, you can still ride few kilometers. To complete destroy the wheel you need to empty few magazines, but effect will be disapointed - vehicle will still move. I'm talking how things are in real, bacuse if soldiers have choice, to which part of the vehicle they can shoot (if it is unarmed) - its allways engine or driver - wheels are just waste of ammo - only in civilian cars you can destroy them easly - in MRAPS best way is to hit few AP rounds, then IN SAME PLACE few HE rounds - and that THE ONLY WAY to destroy the TIRE with ANTI-MATERIAL 12,7 mm RIFLE.

Tested, working, but how i can do this on campaign missions or single player missions!? This must be reworked. Game is totally unplayable in my opinion. Im getting killed for most stupid reasons - my tank are flying straight under the enemy fire from the cover (PhysX failure from 2 years!!!!), my tank cannot reverse - it starts rotating showing weakest parts of armor to the enemy, or just like 4 minuts ago, my crew disembark under enemy fire from small arms, apc's and tanks just beacuse they have damaged ONE track! How this is possible to create such behavior!

But they will be in vehicle even if hull will be hard damaged right? I just want to make them sit inside vehicle if tracks or engine is damaged, if hull or turret is not operational, they should disembark.

Shields is right. Bipod isnt used, Javelins are launched from sitting position. I think Bohemia totally ignored this, its time to write to ACE guys.... as allways when we want some real feature in arma. Its pity that prone launcher animation are added in all previous Arma's by MODS AND ADDONS. THIS MEAN SOMETHING BOHEMIA.

+1 and if there would be an option +1000000000. I dont know why its not implemented since Arma 1, but its present in game anims, there is no mod for that in arma 3 (or i dont know it) and its should be as high priority, same as other animations for launchers - for exampple with normal weapon you can do more animations (by ctr + q,e,a,d,w,s) and with launcher only crouching and standing (still with bug when changing position, very often launcher is hidden to back, and when character is standnig, launcher is back in the hand, wasting time and creating unnecessary danger for player). ACTUALLY ALL ANIMATIONS AVAILABLE FOR SMALL ARMS, RIFLES SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR LAUNCHERS.

Yes, i remember this in Battlefield 2 and it was terrible. Now it appear in arma 3 - try to come close to ally and aim his head - now step closer and closer and you will see your gun is small as water-gun-toy. Upvoted. It need a little tweak about collision files and overall "impression" to not resize weapons/objects.

I guess there was some update from microsoft (autoupdates) when this start occuring. BIS need to make bigger compatibility with win 10, and microsoft need to make bigger compatibility for all products - many users suffer for similar problems...

@mickeyman - ok, you've got Nvidia - good to know, what settings of PhysX you are using - forced to GPU or standard?

UEFI bios is so simple to use, so it wasnt so hard - just one click and save. It not change system settings, just hardware work conditions. Its nothing bad to use "performance"mode, it will not kill your pc, but will use its full potencial (its not overclocking!).

About JSRS - i had strange bug with JSRS - muzlle from MG's in tanks was still in same place, even after turning the turret. It disable turret movement in RHS Escalation mod for humves - thing with it have nothing to do, but ONLY IN THEORY.

And give us full pc specs, it will help to solve problem.

Damm... Its may be problem when they crash into each other. Try to observe them, what will be this trigger forcing them upside down. (previev mission in editor, hit [esc] and click camera, set acttime bar to 1.0 and watch them.

My tank jumped :( But one time and for small distance :D But still, it jumped. I dont know what Bohemia actually done/changed, but they are on the good way

@Pershing - overturned... you mean on the roof right? I guess it was RHS escalation. I'm playing with it as well, but they are jumping beacuse collision objects with barrel. No more jumping while turning, or rotating on the open field for me.

@mickeyman give us your PC specs. Nvidia? On the obstacles = it was since first arma so its good (better than it was). Describe more "while long turns" - on turbo, without etc. Also try without mod (i know it mas sound stupid, but i'm sure its JSRS Dragon Fyre SP 1.0 - and developer says it have lot of bugs, for now i recomend DragonFyre LITE as it have no scripts.

PS: This is what i actually done :
In UEFI BIOS i turned mode "performance" instead "normal"
In game video options i disabled anisotopy (no more on CPU now), and enabled full anisotopy in Catylist Control Center (now it use GPU)
Disabled CPU parking thing in any program - i setted to use max frequency - 3.5 Ghz.
Installed Radeon PRo, and created profile there for Arma 3, from most important tweaks i switched [visual] teselation to OFF, disabled VSYNC, [Advanced] turned ON Triple Buffer (open GL) ,[Tweaks} forced ON dynamic framerate control up to 60, disabled aero, forced use of all cores of CPU, and high priority of arma3.exe. In Radeonpro settings i disabled API [general] i DISABLED all.
But RC was released 3 times, first time problem was gone, after second time it back ( as you can see from my previous messages) and third (53mb) fixed the problem again. I think they are on the right way. What more i do before play - always disable internet connection, disable Nod32 antivirus, using gamebooster - playing mode, and some changes from My documents/Arma 3/arma3.cfg :
GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;

And from game launcher i use 4 cores, with all 3 options under it, using TBB4malloc, max vram 1921, nologs, skipsplash, nointro and... thhats all, i hope it helps.

Vanilla or modded? I havent started to deeper testing yet :) Remember - 1.52 RC

Even if problem is not solved for everyone, i think its big step forward, beacuse on my computer, PROBLEM IS 100% GONE. If this may be helpful for developers i share my specs:
Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 OC (2GB)*
i5 4690, 4 x 3.5 Ghz**
8 GB RAM 1600 Mhz (2 x 4GB in dual mode, HyperX)
1 TB HDD 7200 rpm

*,** - i think it have biggest meaning here. AMD dont like PhysX, from other hand in Arma 3 PhysX is taken on CPU. Great work gentelmens, now i can make some combined ops mission.

Goddam.... No word about this from devs, problem exist since i can remember, and game is named simulator. Simulator of what? Of rockets? Cant you undertsand its impossible to play comfortable ANY mission that contains tracked vehicles? How much time do you need to fix most gamebraking issue in whole arma series?

For all people having this issue - PLEASE TEST 1.52 RC ( Arma3Update152RC) Problem seem to be gone, but i was making speed test, today i'll make deeper research.

FPS drops in Single player, i dont play multi.
Also PhysX failures is disturbing vanilla content. Freezing, boost start, it all is fault of wrong PhySX. There is so much other games runing perfectly with PhySX - i dont know, maybe borrow some settings from them?

Single player run very smooth after update 1.50 (damm good job!), infantry issues are still present (but as tempontrary i can use some AI mods), AND THE PHYSX.... I wonder this may be caused by ATI. I have Radeon, not Gforce and this may be the whole thing. Can you give me proper contact for PhysX developers, or contact them in this case? Do they even know about this issue?

After refreshing Bohemia forums many topics is deleted, but i'm sure there was lot of it. You can talk to MistyRonin from RHS team - he know exacly where it was. Problem is, this is very serious and i can easly say "game breaking" since lot of updates, and we actually dont know, someone is doing anything to fix this. This issue is making worst feeling of beta game. If this would be fixed, it would be like sun coming from the clouds.

Its known issue, all vehicles are based on PhysX, there was houndrets tickets about it, BIS know about it as well, its a duplicate of 10 or more tickets, next time before creating ticket try to search smillar one. If you dont kno - its physx engine issue.

This is real as could be for now, i hope they will not change anything in this matter, @Snipedhunter - sounds wchich you described exist only when bullet fly very long target, and then slow down, missing you with very low speed. Call Of Duty, Medal Of Honor, HollyWood productions are made to chill out, ArmA is game, where you are up to feel, like on real battlefields. Real battlefields mean scary, shoc, even jump when they fire to you and you will hear it quite loud, so you can feel the pression. Otherwise game would be good for few hours - then uninstall. Besides that, its very realistic.

Well i taken in account that this may be some serious problem for other people, and tested it more deeply - i was hoping this will be some dificulty problem (auti-aiming guided missles on/off), but it is not. I tested 3rd person view and 1st person, in 3rd person it seems to be more precise, but actually it happening randomly. So i guess its a problem for developers. I'll try now changing resolution and aspect ratio ( i remember similiar bug in some mod, and it helped) but i doubt it help beacuse vanilla content is like main core - if it is damaged, all moded content wil not work properly as well.

Edit - changing aspect ratio, resolution, display mode, vsyns doesnt change anything, i'm sorry, but its a bug.

I cant mod it by myself, i know how it work, but i never created any mod. More - i've got renovation at my house at 40 Celsius degrees, in the sun, almost 24/h, so i'm unable to turn on my PC when i want to. Now i've got break beacuse materials is finished and my brother went to shop to buy more...

OK, nice to see agrre between players but there is one thing @Shurilex - Arma is not using our PC so much as you writed. It eat half of power of our PC, and not using fully potential of machines. CPU and GPU is 60%, while in gta is about 90% (GTA V is runing much smoother). I know coding is hard, but effects like this tires, and turning vehicle in wreck is simply adding 15 or 20 lines of text (or even less). Bulletholes on vehicles is simply change in base line (change count from 6 or 8 [now 8 its full bulletholes on vehicle if i remember] to 20 or 30, render distance to 100 or less, [add option to change it in video options] and texture using to some new and here you go). Off course you can ask me, why i dont did that if this is so simple - beacuse i think Arma 3 should be better playable without mods.

I guess you are using Mozilla same as me? One the upper menu of window - "help/restart with switched off addons" and now it should work. Allways remember to update your browser to newest version before restearting without addons.(mozilla updates are almost one per day). If this wont fix your issue (what i doubt) try to set off the proxy (Options>advanced>network>Connection[settings]>without proxy>restart mozilla).

ouch..... Lot of errors..... Game files verification needed. Try to do it. Steam library > right click on game ArmA 3 > Properties > Local Files > Files verification. And try diferent servers and disable from commandline this : -maxMem=12800 -maxVRA=2047

Sorry for so long delay - ive got renovation. did you tried to disable acceleration in launcher (tribe icon on the right upper corner, then mark or unmark the field "disable hardware acceleration")? You must have those files in this folder, research again, if you are no using command to disable logs ( -nologs) you must have those files. Also, one small question - are you playing on administrator account?

Thats why i dont use BE. Bohemia cannot do anything about it, you need to write to BE dirrectly, as this problem isnt belong to Bohemia Studio.

AutoAiming in Arma !? Is this a joke? HAHAHA! Very funy! It suppos to be simulator - what simulation it will be if you will only walking? There is also auto aiming in dificulty settings if you dont know.... Its not Battlefield or some GTA, its ArmA, deal with that. Who wants to play against auto-aiming kids on servers?

Well, in 1.48 there was some changes about RVMATS as i remember, and you simply need to update your mod. Update should be available without a week of delay. Allways remember to update mods right after game update, otherwise they may not work or crash the game

Guys this is not funny. I just downloaded "Ghost" Update (no information about changelog) and nothing from reported bugs are fixed so far. First of all radio commands are bugged (some part of sentense are not spoken, and some of reports are not showing on HUD), Clouds - just terrible...... is this so hard to fix most ugly part of the game? Tracks damage and crew disembarking - off course same bug repeated again. PhysX - totally zero change (no files were updated). Is this some kind of Joke? I played just one presentation (tanks) and i dont want to play it no more. mission starts with tank stuck with wrong place after the order (move to next waypoint). Ugliness, on bugs, bugs on errors, this is how Arma 3 look like (2 years after release).

If this is not so simple then sorry, but i was not mistaken, saying that would be 100% better solution than "alive clouds".

Many fatures from ALPHA should back like A2 clouds and Lens Flares... Please get it back.....
