ARMA 3 soldiers fail basic fitness test.
Acknowledged, WishlistPublic

Description

The fatigue generation in the game is drastically unrealistic. In the British Army every soldier has to pass a basic fitness test: the ability to run 1.5 miles in 8.5 minutes. In ARMA 3 even elite, incredibly fit special forces soldiers are left gasping for breath after only a few hundred yards! This isn't even close to being realistic. The fatigue level, and the effect it has on accuracy, need to be very significantly toned down.

I noticed this and its not realistic. I've seen a show in some channels like Discovery Channel where soldiers were to carry a very heavy bag and carry it all the way in a long journey.

I noticed the same when doing a coopers test. In real life +3100 meters in 12 minutes is a good result but in arma 3 you can only run about 2600 without any extra gear apart from clothes.

@mickeymen I wont support that ticket because his reasoning is absolutely different. So i would definitely not call this a duplicate.

What's the equipment used in the British Army test? How many mags, gun, grenades, vest etc?

/I tested things:

Uniform, CTRG vest, Assault Pack, helmet, sunglasses, watch, compass, map, gps, MX with 6 mags, 2 grenades, 2 smoke grenades and first aid kit. 32-33% load depending on if you have gun in your hands or backpack.

Put your weapon in your backpack so you've hands free. This is the least fatigued way to go and the most fastest movement is achieved by this. Now use full sprint until you're 60% fatigued, then switch to walking and back to sprint when fatigue is 0%. Results:
2,7km in 8,5min
3,8km in 12min

So there are ways to complete those trainings.

"I wont support that ticket because his reasoning is absolutely different. So i would definitely not call this a duplicate."

Autor DarkFire says - "The fatigue generation in the game is drastically unrealistic" and "The fatigue level, and the effect it has on accuracy, need to be very significantly toned down"

and Autor armauser99 says - "Fatique is unrealistic" and also informs that the fatigue-system is too hard.
What are the differences? We have the same question, regardless of the details and tests

i never play any mission without stamina script running ! because the original fatigue sucks like hell.

Its one of most game braking "feature"... yeah, devs should change it, it would take 2 minuts for them, for now we can use some mod. Worst is, this isnt the issue since now, it is issue since last 5 or six updates. I feel like i'm playing with a lady, not a soldier.
