"our" medium populated official server was absolutlely unplayable yesterday we also quit DayZ for time being, I think it was bit better on friday and saturday - it was bad but i dont think as bad. Yesterday it was just 0.37 experience.
I played on some community servers, I have to say you guys running those are doing actually very good job, compared to official I felt like I joined csgo server.

I am getting it too, seems to be a general 1.10 problem. Server FPS fluctuating violently, and even if it is still over 2k on average you will see players rubberbanding, door and other interactions getting delayed and cars being horrible to drive with constant rubberbanding. Sometimes the car is jerked sideways, sometimes it changes direction up to 45 degrees without you even touching the keyboard. Results are of course disastrous if you are travelling at speed.
Vehicles getting thrown about on server restart has become a lot worse with the stable 1.10 release. Really guys you HAVE to do something about this now! If a car is missing a wheel or more it will be tossed around and smashed to pieces more often than not. I made the M3S spawn with all wheels attached after observing this behaviour on Experimental, but it seems I'll have to do it on all vehicles.
Can verify for a modded server. We should be running at 5k FPS, but running at 1k-2kFPS, with multiple reports of flying & bouncing cars.

I’ve done a vehicle wipe 2 days after 1.10 release, had about 40 vehicles, and I saw no difference in server FPS. After combing through 1.10, learning everything it’s introduced, I feel this is just the side affect of its new features. hopefully in future updates they can optimize these new features, because this is a very negative side affect we are experiencing.

Hey monstergnom. The reason car is bouncing so much is because it's glitches. You have too take the tires off and put them back on again. Also check your tires, wead and tare still exist in the world so always check your tires for the usage

Well after about week of 1.10
I'll average about 25-30 players and see a constant average 1.5k-2k FPS with that many players.
I've ran modded servers since 1.06, and I will say I'm use to being able to push 3k-3.5k with that many players. I would say I'm very experienced when it comes to running servers.
When I ran ApocalypticSixx ( 1.06-1.09 ), I did 70 slot servers, and ran 2 instances on each machine I had. I had 4 servers total, 2 machines.
I would average 500-1k FPS with 70 players on each instance. So 140 players on 1 machine.
Can confirm. This will happen if digging up worms with any knife. Have not yet been able to test with a shovel or other tool.
Correction: Attempting to "dig up worms" with any knife, steak, kitchen, etc. will always result in the action being interrupted and the hands slot becoming bugged.
As reported by the OP, a significant contributor to this issue is the Food Decay / Cooling system. This is *not*, however, the only factor. Disabling it will definitely prolong the time it takes for these issues to be felt, but we've had to switch from a 6 hour restart cycle to a 3 hour one - as well as disabling the new systems - in order to maintain a playable environment.
I simply walked into PD, closed the door and zombies followed in behind me as if the door was open. I didn't notice any lag or anything out of the ordinary. I had reasonably low ping, well under 100ms, there were 2 other people on at the time.

DayOne is seeing a 60-70% decrease in server FPS as of the 1.10 patch. During normal operation it is playable, but there is no headroom for the frequent performance dips which result in the typical issues (doors and inventory lagging, players stuttering, awkward zombie combat, desync).
This should not be a minor issue. It's just unplayable.
OP, bump up the severity. I wouldn’t say this is minor. Last night was the first night in ages my crew got off to play something else. This is going to hurt the game.
This is a huge problem on official servers right now too. If you join any relatively populated server there is incredible rubber banding, delays opening doors, delays accessing inventory, flying cars, teleporting zombies. It’s really bad. The game is unplayable.
Thank you for that feedback. I would most certainly agree with what you've described in your comment and applaud your efforts to document and reproduce these bugs/glitches. Prior to 1.10 I had a car (can't remember which model) similarly bug out on me and begin to roll/spiral out of control however I was able to stop the car and it worked itself out. To add more information to what happened in my particular instance, I was going approximately 10-15kmh prior to the truck bugging out.
Devs please do something, official server are unplayable now...

Actually, the desynch with cars (which appears literaly every 20 seconds while driving) appeared just after the last update. But when the server restarts and nobody joins, it's working normally. Fix this server desynch, when there are lots of players cars are unplayable.
You spin the engine only in safe (non-red) speeds, right?
I takes time to get hydrated and energized regardless of how full your stomach is. If you get stuffed by low-calorie food to the point you vomit you lose even this little energy. Energize and hydrate yourself gradually - it really takes surprisingly long time to get the apple and flask icons full.
Can very well be related to T155244 BTW I wouldn't say it is resource-related, my home server demonstrating this problem is hardly at 20% of CPU load, memory also pretty empty and network latency negligible. This must be a bug, not resources/load issue.
Seen these in police stations (village type - yellow with circular tower on top), but in some rural houses too. Must have something to do with zombie spawning positions. Also all those poor zombies stranded on roofs! (Announcing your stealth presence far and wide)
This happens to Gunter2 and Olga too. Luckily nobody died in incidents I experienced - but it was close call each time. I suspect it is related to lag and the effect always accumulates/worsens over time (or distance traveled?). While driving the car, it would start to behave erratic - not reacting to keys for steering/acceleration/breaking or overreacting or even doing steering or acceleration changes on its own. This same can happen even when driving flattest straightest and widest roads. It happened to me repeatedly that the car started to roll (rotate along front-back axis) sometimes elevated over the ground, then (when breaking super hard to save the car and people in it) car would stop and sit back on all it's wheels but would wiggle or shake. This of course is easy recipe for crash at speeds beyond 40 km/h and the environment clearly designed against all basic rules of transportation safety (yes I mean all those concrete or wooden pillars close to roads, or little stone walls hidden mostly in grass or other solid obstacles dangerously close to roads - all cunningly placed on trajectories you would travel if you lost control of your vehicle for a slightest moment - like during lag you are not able to control. Roads like this would never be allowed to exist in real world, but ok this is Chernarus and we want to make game challenging by both clever means and cheap ones too...). I believe the problem occurs when game is not able to keep-up with fast changes of player's/car's position. I was running my own home server on 1G LAN (separate physical machine), just one gigabit switch away from game PC, both PC and the server with pretty overkill specs, not running anything else - just server running DayZ Expermiental server and client PC running only DayZ client on steam (OK Firefox with single tab of iZurvive map). Same behavior observed also on random remote community server with decent low ping. So I think it is reasonable to say that issue is unrelated to computing resources available being it CPU, RAM or network latency+throughput. Interesting here is how issue gets worse over time as you play and move. Without real insight into what happens with the running code I can only speculate this has something to do with loading and releasing game data as you travel longer distances and get new areas activated around you. Maybe player uses more and more resources as he rapidly moves through many new areas and game engine does not keep up. I even heard sound getting worse over time - getting choppy at some point. I did not experiment with restarting either client or server to see which of them causes it. But I will try to gather more info and open separate ticket on it if I get better quality data to hand over to Bohemia Interactive to work with. As for now I would summarize:

Sigh.. That is super disappointing to say the least. I'm still pretty pissed about what happened. It took several hours to even find the truck since I am currently on foot, and then another several hours to find the battery for the truck.

Done it again. No warning of character going to be sick apart from very brief appearance of full stomach symbol. Bottle and Apple symbols stick at 3/4.
