Or as another player suggested, make the sval and vss not so rare. they are such a good looking guns to be ignored or mistreated like this. The same with .357 rounds.
I think blocking every zed hit should be only possible with a long tool or weapon in hands, sligthly damaging the tool or weapon. Anybody can be protected from a hit using a shovel or an sks if you hold it properly (with may require a new animation) but if you block the hit with your bare hands it makes no sense you suffer no damage. But I completely agree this is a good patch, it's sad I can not longer test it in experimental servers due to the lag and the 300 ping limit, we need a testing server in South America.
It could be interesting if the unconsciousness state lenght woul be also related to the the part of the body where the bullet hit. I mean, I've seen people get unconscious by way many minutes in real life just for losing a finger , I think a hit on a bullet proof helmet or a plate carrier should provoque the shortest unconsciousness periods, but being directly hit in the body (depending on which one) should make a player unconscious at least 30 seconds (considering the servers time speed set)
I made a fire place in Kamyshovo near the PD during night time but the zombies did not seem to take any notice of the fire, I also made a fire in the green 2 story house to the right of the PD with the same result.
This is now a server specific setting.
If you don't get the "respawn - Custom" option, it'll be randomised.

There are no plans to have community moderators. The servers are running BattlEye anticheat which is responsible for detecting the hackers and BattlEye then handles the bans.
Does any specific software running come to mind that could be causing this? Are you running any specific launch parameters? And have you tried to completely delete the config files and verify the game data to see if that has any effect?

The official servers are a hacker fest, as there are no admins. Why can't we volunteer to be admins? I have like 700 hours and the game is broken because people are cheating.
Ruined knives aren't dropped from the players hands and can be picked up and used to melee after being ruined. However, they can't be used for any crafting, or can opening.
ADS bug. To add for me this occurs when I try to raise my weapon. I don’t tap r to go straight to ads. I always hold r to bring my weapon up, then middle mouse to ads as needed. There are times when I hold r to raise weapon and nothing happens. It happens much more when crouching or prone compared with standing. But I will be holding r and nothing happens, sometimes I have to hold r 2/3 times to get my weapon to raise. Often I am dead before I can do this.

- At the moment it feels like everyone gets shot unconscious wakes up in 4-5 seconds, does not matter the calibre, shot by .308 or .357 or 7.62x39 they all take the same time until waking up.
Two things I found so far. When you unload a pistol, and it was in the chestholster on the vest, the pistol will not go back on it automaticly.
When having pouches in your inventory and you have items in them.
They fall out if you relog.

Just wanted to say thank you to the development team for addressing this issue in the DayZ 1.13 update patch.
Its quite impossible to build a base outside a building with more 7 gates, this way making really hard to have a base in this game, because there are a lot of dupers, and grenades are really easy to find on Livonia (1 loot around Nadbor gets around 4-6 grenades). The only option is to nerf the raiding by nades, make it easier to build a base and encourage players to build metal walls and gates.
As mentioned before, even metal fences got destroyed the same way. Frame destroying also destroys the metal outside.
I've experienced difficulty picking up items from car seats (read: I wasn't able to pick them up, no matter how I positioned myself)
The blur. I won’t be able to play because of my TBI, PCS and migraine history any more. Possibly an option to turn that off? I can not imagine people who suffer Epilepsy not having issue as well. Especially the knock out flickering. I’ve almost vomited on stream because of that.

The ADS bug appears to be a desync where the server recognizes the command, but your client does not. This is why if you get the bug you will also be forced to move slowly - the server is correcting your movement speed to be what it would be if you were *actually* ADS-ing.
