You should make sure that your microphone is selected in the Windows Sound Options, then it should work in the game as well. Problem since Windows10.

It seems plenty people have had this issue since the beginning of 2019 is there any fix yet, as this game need a mic for it to be fun and interact with people

👍 lots of valid points. Restraining someone whilst they are performing an action is one of the best times to do it. No good if it’s not possible! Handcuffs should also take AT LEAST 1 minute to break out of. Being able to jog would BE GREAT. Having captives attempt to run off adds a massive gameplay dynamic. Being able to run of whilst captive will be exhilarating!

Bloom cannot be disabled in any way at this moment and according to the devs it probably would not help with the issue you are experiencing. Also, regarding to the video you have originally provided and attached to the ticket.. can you provide us with a timestamp where the stutter should be? Can you please provide us with a dxdiag file from your computer? Also, has this issue started to occur suddenly and were you able to play previously without the issue? If so, were there any software changes on your computer recently that could cause the issue? Have you tried to do a clean install of latest video drivers or older version to see if it has any effect on the issue? Have you tried to re-install the game?

@Geez So i still have the same issues after a fresh Windows 10 install.. i only installed Chipset and GPU drivers, then Steam and then DayZ.. same problem.

Have you tried to delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder and then verify the game data through Steam? Also, are you using any software with overlay feature? If you disable every single program running on your computer and launch DayZ only, does the issue still occur?

Are you launching the game directly through the .exe? If so, you have to use DayZ_BE.exe as the standard executable launches without BattlEye client and relaunches with the BE client running when you attempt to connect to a server.
