Yes, I figured it out now. Earlier I thought they were some special NVGs (LOL) which don't have the tubes or whatever, but only the stand or whatever it's called.

I don't think it's possible to stabilize it in the sea because you can't just predict the water's behaviour.
/downvoted
It's okay for me.
Openable doors on vehicles were removed because there were some issues which were difficult to solve. They will be added again after those issues are solved.
I think the devs said something like that is possible. Maybe it's only on the dev build.
You can already kill the crew with AP rounds, FYI.
What about the gunner?
Something like this with just a few gauges and stuff would be nice (for the driver): http://i.imgur.com/USzYqf2.png
Btw, the pic if from the Kamysh.
Well, let's upvote then. Who's the fagg*t that downvoted?
F*g stop spamming!
In almost every ticket I see at least one if not even more of your notes with a link to one of your tickets.
This is a must-have.

You can already set the altitude or whatever it's called to -x where x is meters.
Confirmed.

@Dr_Death
Ever heard of the Dev build?
Because the engine doesn't support moving water.
Yes, I read about the 16-17 meter tides but 40m? That's bigger than a 10 story building.
"Another great point is that flooding would allow for tides to implemented."
Correction: tides would allow for flooding to be implemented.
/upvoted
Yes, it's very well written. ;) Not that it matters, but you misspelled Altis.
And btw, I don't think the engine supports tides and water level changing.Could they just make 2 separate maps?
Well, that's what I've been saying the whole time. Those aren't temporary names. The KA-60 and EBR were temporary names. The PO-30 Orca and M18 ABR are permanent names.
Again, aren't placeholders temporary names?
Isn't a placeholder supposed to be a temporary name for something until they come up with an actual name? I thought the KA-60 and EBR were placeholders.
Those aren't placeholders. Do you know what a placeholder is? And EBR is the M14 EBR, it's a real life rifle. Unfortunately, in the Beta it has been renamed to "M18 ABR".

I believe it's just a modified version or something. The nose and wings are completely the same.
What do you mean?
The Mi-48 is the Mi-28 Havoc IRL, so it's not a fictional helicopter.
How about moving the icon while aiming?
Well, I like my icons where they are now, so adding a layout customization option for that would not be the perfect solution.
/upvoted the ticket, but I don't really like ProGamer's idea
So...you're making a multiplayer mission?
Oh, I understand. You want to make a mission with a friend simultaneously to make it faster. It is possible. You can do this: each one of you makes half a mission, one of you uploads the unfinished mission somewhere, the other one downloads it and then the one who downloaded merges the missions. Is that good enough for you?
/upvoted
What exactly do you mean? You can already save your missions as multiplayer scenarios.
Did you notice you used the word "snow" 5 times in 3 sentences. As vryoffbtdrummr, this has beem suggested.
/downvoted
They did it okay in TOH, I don't know why can't they do it in Arma.
I'd say it's only a Havoc and a Hokum.
@m.frydenlund@gmail.com
I thought about this, but I'm not sure since the Katibas use caseless and the MX rifles use STANAG. So, is STANAG caseless?
/upvoted
Was this in a mission with spawn protection?
It'll probably be resource demanding, so maybe only on the higher settings?

If the DAGRs in the AH-99 were laser guided it would need ground troops to use them and to mark targets which would make unusable for SP missions, although it could work in MP missions. And, don't attack helicopters sometimes go solo, without infantry?
And, btw, the Skalpels in the Mi-48 are AT while the DAGRs are only AG, I think.
Agreed with Byku. It's boring just flying the chopper. Everyone wants some action :D.
The pilot should only have control over unguided missiles because the gunner can lock on to vehicles more easily.
The Skyfires are unguided and that's the reason why they can't be laser guided. I think the Skyfires are based on the S-8 rockets which are unguided.
The other one (I think they're called AASRAMs) are air-to-air missiles.
I agree for the with the OP, the Skyfires should be guided by the pilot.
What rockets do you want to be laser guided? The skyfires, can't be laser guided, but I think the DAGRs on the Rah-99 can be laser guided.
I've got a question: are there any unguided rockets except the skyfires in the Kajman which the pilot doesn't have control of?
Those are very good ideas, I hope they implement them.
Please change the title to reflect the content of the ticket.
I don't understand what exactly you want, so if you could explain in more detail that would be nice.
Happens with chemlights, too.

Fish is for the same kind of fish (e.g. tuna), fishes is for different kinds fish.

Duplicate of 0000999. And we all know fish die (plural is fish FYI) so remove it.
2 questions for the OP:
1.Is Robert's answer what you were looking for?
2.Is the ACOG a mod or did you mean the RCO and ARCO scopes?
Is the ACOG a mod?
Duplicate of 0009678. Please search before posting.
The vehicles don't have "ultimate offroad capability". The Hunters can go uphill up to about 18 kph. Their max speed (on roads) is 120 kph. That's about one sixth (if that's even a word) of their road speed.
The OP is talking about going uphill. And the offroad speed should be reduced a bit, although there's mainly grass in Arma 3. I don't think Altis is going to be as rough as Lemnos.
@Grynia
All of the vehicles go under 20 kph (military around 18 kph, civilian around 10 kph, trucks around 5 kph) so it's okay uphill. When going downhill all vehicles are as fast as/slightly faster than on roads. It's okay.
The offroad's offroad capability should be increased a bit. Now it can climb hills 5-10 kph.
@Grniya
The terrain of Agios Efstratios is very rough IRL, but they made it less rough in the game. Since it's less rough, they shouldn't make the driving feel like on rough terrain.
Agreed.
Why did you bump this? It was already in the top 10.
@Dr_Death
I believe it's the second one.
@zumzum
The ticket has almost two times more downvotes than upvotes. Even if someone did create several accounts it wouldn't really matter.
What choppers look like transformers?
There's a hang glider mod already and it kinda sucks... I don't want anything like it in Arma 3.
Here's how hang gliders would look in Arma 3 (in a night mission): http://i.imgur.com/OiTbL2k.png
@zumzum
No, the indies aren't already implemented. They will be implemented in the beta and they will also be a military faction. The ones in wasteland are script-made.
Does the military use hang gliders? I don't think so.
/downvoted
I don't think Arma is hard game. Noobs shouldn't be "out of control".
Btw, a little suggestion: if implementing the visual indicator, make it disappear after a few mins or something because with your own waypoint, the task waypoint and the "observe" indicator it'll probably get cramped on the screen.
First of all it should be "observe" instead of "observer". Secondly, if someone doesn't know what are bearings, teach them. Just say "it's those little numbers on your compass" or something like that. But an "observe" indicator is a good idea so I'll upvote.
Added it to the ticket.
Confirmed, with a weapon you can do all the things I mentioned in the ticket. But, you should be able to at least lean and crouch-sprint without a weapon.
Okay, it's related.
Part of this is a duplicate of 0009631.
Nice idea. The red-dot on top of the RCO and ARCO is kind of too small for me.

Nice steps to reproduce.

Yeah, the binocs texture is really stupid.
I'm not really sure, but it probably would. Maybe on some parts it would, but on others it wouldn't?
I don't think it really needs a damage model. Maybe make it just so that when a weapon is hit by a certain amount of bullets (depending on caliber,range and weapon) the weapon becomes unusable.
Duplicate of 0003909.
You just had to search for "bipods". This is a duplicate of 0000432.
This has been suggested several times, but it has been rejected because of the specific roles that someone picks on the start of the mission. For example, if you pick a marksman you can't just take a carryall backpack and 5 satchels.
/downvoted
Doesn't military police punish war criminals or something like that?
/downvoted
Not necessary at all and probably resource demanding.

The RPG works fine.
The mines are the problem. If a vehicle is called a Mine Resistant Armored Vehicle it should be mine resistant.

Do you realise this is an alpha? Did you watch the beta livestreams? Did you see the Mk20 and the Zafir?

The thing with the helicopters is really annoying and I think it should be fixed immediately.

I don't understand what exactly you want. And were you talking about the GM6?
Do you mean something simple like for example the terrain editor from the Sims series? Or do you want something more advanced than Visitor?
Please don't spam the update button by constantly clicking it and editing the issue at all. It floods my e-mail inbox.
Time and trouble? Don't they just have to convert every mission to multiplayer by making every unit playable?
Moderator, please close this ticket.
Great idea.

Maybe not the grass, but dust and automatic crouch are good suggestions.

Not really necessary, but I'll upvote anyway.
