i'd like to have a co-op OFP campaign, nobody likes actually the spec ops campaign, not even with MP, Op Arrowhead was the BIS team trying to take one of the things that people loved from the OFP campaign, the fact that your character switches roles every mission, but nobody gets that what PLAYERS LOVED about the OFP campaign was that 90% was just you as a regular infantry and the story developed with each one of the characters in the war.

TL;DR:

I want Co-op in arma 3 only if you play as an common infantry soldier

Co-op was an interesting feature in theory, but i remember that it was extremely problematic, buggy, complicated to implement, and if i'm not mistaken it has not been resolved even to this day. As nice as it might be, the time and trouble to implement it by the devs, in my opinion, might be better spent working on other features.

Time and trouble? Don't they just have to convert every mission to multiplayer by making every unit playable?

Coop would be great.

It would be nice to play with friends some top quality long story missions
and not just domination, insurgency or looking for a good coop missions on
armaholic or some other site.

AD, the problem was not the gameplay itself but the missions, secondary missions (alike Op manhattan) and things like scripts, they dont work good in a CO OP story

BTW Dr_Death, i like spec ops missions :)

bez, i am sure you do, but mostly people like common infantry, that's why people loved OFP, 3 VERY HARD Spec ops missions that really needs pros at the game, a bunch of flying missions, armored combat missions, and infantry for the most of the time, being just 1 character and looking at his evolution trough the game from an US army private to a staff seargeant and even though its just a refference in some games, up to a company leader or the USS Keshan captain for the USMC in arma 2
