[feature request] SDV (special:start underwater)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

when placing a unit (in particular SDV) in the editor, much like how the helicopters have the ability to start flying (special:flying) it would be a cool/useful feature to have that when placing a SDV and possibly divers that they could start"underwater" (special:underwater) which would obviously make the SDV/diver start a reasonable distance underwater instead of on the surface of the water.

(the time of me posting this in the "product version/gameversio" Beta[development] 0.71.106777 isn't available but that is the version i am using and it will not let ne post this unless i select a version)

Additional Information

one use of this feature is it could lead to the ability to create a mission where you are a "men"unit and have to dive to get to the SDV (to complete the objective and move on to whatever the next objective may be)

it could also allow for making a mission where you start under water instead on the surface near enemy units (to do whatever the objective is) this will allow you to be undetected when starting/spawning(because starting on the surface as a SDV with enemy units nearby will lead to you being spotted)
