Mil-Dot
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I think it would be nice to have a mil-dot-scale ("Strichplatte" in german) in the binoculars which would allow the player to estimate the range of an observed object.
I know there is the rangefinder, but this would make ranging a bit harder.
At least you can f*?! it up when under pressure.

I support this ticket, also binoculars texture wasn't changed since 1st Arma!

Yeah, the binocs texture is really stupid.

upvoted.

many vehicles/items in arma lack the ability to "fuck it up when under pressure". i don't think that every game mechanic would have to be hyper-realistic, but it would be nice, that some more mechanics were at least difficult enough to give a little chance of, well.. fucking them up (when under pressure).
for example:
guided missiles without proper seeking/locking procedure
missile launchers without backblast
laser rangefinder and designator with unlimited ammo / no cooldown
aircraft fire control systems...
