This is still not fixed, at least in stable.

In Arma 3 linux server its intentional.
And DayZ uses the same code as A3 for that stuff
Fix for this in the latest 1.14 experimental build seems to be working. Crashed my Ada into a car wreck doing about 20 kmph today and it was NOT totalled! I didn't want to sacrifice my ride to see where collisions start doing significant damage, but definitely progress here. Thanks guys!
Fixed in 154196, no idea when that might come to experimental
I would like to ask if you have noticed bad graphics in dayz?

True, but currently a player cannot struggle out or change their position (crouch, stand up, flip over, etc.) besides rotating in place.

I didn't mean we all should use old drivers. What I tried to illustrate is that "something" happened after 20.4.2. Hopefully those who can fix it (I can't) will take a look. In my simple mind mind this should be doable. Only thing that changes is the driver.

20.4.2 was the best last driver and there were no lags in the cities - but the old driver with its minuses and it makes no sense to use it now, and everything that comes after 20.4.2 suffers from lags to this day - I checked each driver after 20.4.2 and they all lag - this is a very long problem that does not solve in any way, but I still hope that it will be "fixed soon"
Below is two videos recorded at the same spot.
- only clean install of 20.4.2 driver was done between videos
- I've tested several versions after 20.4.2
- fps drops on both but not as badly with older driver
- GPU and power usage drops a lot more with newer driver
- GPU frequency also drops to ~1100Mhz with newer driver but I guess recording keeps it up in the video
- not server related, happens on any server
- happens around big cities when looking to certain direction, never in forests
honestly I still think there should be some form of maximum damage done, maximum damage for example 40% of the total damage the car can take, whenever you bug the car it would only suffer 40% of the total damage instead of automatically destroying it, ie you would have 3 bugcrashs until the car destroys.

Actualy i saw that is not just deagle.. i not try all, but even shotguns i have de same problem in that time. I don't have time to test more after...

Same as with Arma 3 linux server, absolute paths are not supported.
Even on windows absolute paths shouldn't be supported afaik.

Same as with Arma 3 on linux, all pbo's need to be lowercase.
Fixed with build 154188, I don't know when that will come to experimental.
I will be happy to correct this error. I use these walls on my map and it wouldn't be nice if the players abuse it

Would be really hard to struggle out when laying on your hands lol
You need to rename yourself in the Dayz launcher NOT in game. Almost all community servers discord general chats or support will tell you this. Many have an automatic bot response for people who ask.

Actually this crash seems to just be a generic memory allocation crash. Not related to web requests itself.

i've stripped down all my inventory and clothes and the problem was solved. I think there was a bug in one of the items. No more problems since the solution.

Have you tried to re-bind the key in dayz settings? Also, have you tried to verify the game data?( Also, make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled before deleting the folder from documents as that one can be replaced by the one stored on the Steam cloud, containing the faulty file).
And are you running any mods? Does this occur with the vanilla version?

Can you please describe what do you mean by editing an area? Also, please upload the full contents of your C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\DayZ folder to this ticket.
The folder is hidden by default, so you will have to enable hidden files and folders in Windows in case you haven't done that yet.

If you copy the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ Exp into C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ, does the issue still persist? Also, have you tried to clear the C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder? And can you please upload a dxdiag file from your computer to this ticket?

If you select this specific character that is related to that specific server in main menu and press the Rename button to rename the character, do you still have the issue? Keep in mind that community servers use their own database for each specific character and that you have to rename the character that is tied to that specific server.

This has always happened on Arma servers in the past. Probably not a big deal if you are taking the server down anyway - so long as the persistence files aren't corrupted.

Been sitting all day with this issue. Tried verrifying files, reinstalled the game twice and yet the issue remains. Incredibly frustrating and hopefully this will be resolved shortly or else i'll probably throw my computer out the window.

This is STILL an issue in 1.14 Experimental (and of course 1.13 Stable).
I have also experienced the same issue with the experimental servers. They become higher latency when the population in the server increases, and is noticeable during game when you try to open doors or perform other actions like eating you will see the action being performed 20-30 seconds later or you will not see the action performed at all and that's how you know sometimes you are disconnected from the server. Also, you will get an error message if you try to connect back to the server. I have found this to happen on Experimental Server LA when the population is over 30.
I got the same issue too, it’s been 3 days I probably won’t be able to play DayZ again

@AmishZed I don't see the issue lol. You're inside, hes outside, footsteps shouldn't be heard clearly through the wall of the house.
Also to mention you couldn't really hear it cause your footsteps are loud and the waves clashing in the background.
The guy could've been crouch walking/running upto the house.
Hello! On Namalsk today I was killed by a player and I wasn't able to hear any approaching footsteps (which I normally do in a situation like this). I was told about this ticket so I just wanted to share a clip in case it helps. This was on the ZERO Namalsk Server.
