I managed to gather the gear and go to Radunin static contamination area, and while there were some NBC infected roaming around, there were loads of regular infected laying death on the ground all over the place. I believe that in static areas there should not be regular infected spawning, only NBC ones, since otherwise they die because of the gas.

I don't know if this is the case of all four static areas between Chernarus and Livonia, but this is the only one I have gone so far and that is what I observed. This happened in official experimental server DayZ Livonia EU - UK 0-1 (Experimental/Unstable).
