Steps To Reproduce
Play a character on any server dont change the name. You are now "Survivor". Try to join a server that does not allow "Survivor" as a name. I have made a new character with the name of "Rich". I select that character and go to choose the server. I get kicked off as it still tries to load "Survivor". I just killed Survivor. You are dead. Quit the game and then try to load in Rich to the other server but the game still wants to pull Survivor instead so am kicked.

Let me Delete a Character!!! Please. If I cant can you please Delete everything if you have to. I just bought the game played for 100 hours and now I cant join a bunch of servers. Please help me out.

If you select this specific character that is related to that specific server in main menu and press the Rename button to rename the character, do you still have the issue? Keep in mind that community servers use their own database for each specific character and that you have to rename the character that is tied to that specific server.

You need to rename yourself in the Dayz launcher NOT in game. Almost all community servers discord general chats or support will tell you this. Many have an automatic bot response for people who ask.

Renaming yourself in the main menu doesn't actually change your character's name. I have no idea why DayZ functions like this and requires renaming yourself in the launcher but it does. Why can't changing your name on the main menu act the same way as -name in the launcher?
