Have you tried to reinstall your direct-x and gpu drivers? have you tried to do a clean install? And have you tried to reinstall the game?
@OTXDRAKO Personal attacks towards the team members will not hasten the procedure. Currently we were not able to produce the issue with the information provided.

Not an issue. The food is not hot enough to cause burn damage when putting it in the pan and then putting the pan into inventory.

Please make sure all your drivers are up to date, there is no hardware issue with your ram and also that you have enough memory allocated.
You can also try to do the following:
Delete C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder
Disable Steam cloud sync
Verify the game data through Steam.
Also if you are running any mods, we suggest running the vanilla version of the game first.

If this is on an official server, you can log onto another server that shares your character. That will reset your characters position.

So as was announced at the beginning, with the full release on Steam came the big wipe affecting everyone who played through Early Access. All progress made during Early Access (unlocked plans, Shelter Improvements, Cosmetics, Crates, etc.) was wiped with one exception - players will keep the full contents of the Vigor Reinforcements Pack. They are your badge of honor for being one of the select Outlanders to play Vigor in Early Access.

When you disconnect, your character is present in the game for some time still, this is to prevent combat logging. Therefore this behaves as intended as the infected will kill you when you disconnect.
