We apologise for any inconveniences, however, it appears that the feature was never fully developed and the option to change colour depth should not have been enabled in the first place.
For that reason the option was removed as the feature is not in the game.

This issue is worse with the 1.09 patch. I needed to remove 5 more mods (32 down to 27) to get my server to boot.

FFS GUYS HIDING THE OPTION IS NOT FIXING IT.

@tjensen thanks for the suggestion, I've renamed the task. It does appear to affect all internal magazine weapons.

Are you certain it is a global ban? As global bans are handled by Steam, and game bans are handled by the devs. Either way, if it is a game ban and not a global ban, then you will have to contact BattlEye as BE handles the game bans for DayZ completely.

It would be stupid of me to buy the game 3 times knowing that they would be banned in 30 minutes, much less reinstall windows. The situation is different: I get a ban almost immediately without any cheats, even on completely windows

Sadly this has been a problem forever. The more players on the server (especially those with high ping) make it worse. With Shroud and Summit playing even vanilla servers have been a problem. I drove cars just fine when the server was 2-40. Today I lost a character I'd kept alive for 2.5 weeks - raided a major base, killed dozens of "bad guys" and the poor dude was done in by a glitched Olga. RIP.

The answer didn't console me: they asked me to tell the developers of the game (that is, you) that the blocking takes place inside a game they don't have access to. They also said that the lockdown occurred at the request of the game developer, not by Valve's anti-cheat system. Please reconsider my appeal once again and help me solve the problem. Thanks

Hello mate now also died again on a house probably from a hacker, didn't hear any shot for one more time maybe he has a good gun who the bullet travel faster than audio. The bad thing was on this death i was talking to a guy who i met on game and we have fun, also some plans to travel together on this strange world but that guy decided to split us and maybe i am not gonnna see him again. Im not gonna give up so fast for those kidos who has not any experience and they are not have a job to work every day for 8-10 hours straight and those 2-5 hours per day after the work to play some games to relax and not being anoying. Sorry about my english it's not my mother language.

I'm having the same bug and this bug can be reproduced.

So far the option of copy the files and moving them to the dayz folder has worked

Global Bans are not being handed out by the game devs nor BattlEye, but Steam itself. Please contact the Steam support directly.

i think ... on this server ... if server are every time low or empty ... he has his duplicating base on the server ..,. is this ffp only official server?
i search them long time .... but

same server .,,.

me was killed by hacker to ... have a video but ... who cares? but i hunt cheaters and for me its no problem ..
i hope you can find the cheater and make him vac ban ... thanks for helping us ... to make dayz greater as befor .. again ..

Can you please try the following:

Have you tried to delete the contents of your C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ folder and then verify the game data through Steam? (Make sure Steam cloud sync is disabled prior to doing so).
Also, if that does not help, can you try to copy the files from C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ Exp folder to the C:\Users\*username*\Documents\DayZ (After deleting the original files) and let us know if that does change anything?

This is also mentioned in T149811 , which has more detailed information on the bug. So please refer to that ticket as well, to try and reproduce and fix the issue.

In another forum I have seen players saying it helped to go into the DayZ folder, right click on the DayZ_x64.exe, go into "Properties" and the "Compatibility" tab and tick the box for "Disable full screen optimisation".

I had the same problem with the SKS (along with the issues with holding R mentioned in T153569 ). I would want to see this fixed before 1.09 goes to stable, otherwise keep it in experimental.
