Wolves sounds bugged in Livonia
Need More Info, NormalPublic

Description

Was walking through the woods and saw that a 5 wolves pack was following me, not a single sound was heard from them.
I killed them and went back to my original direction since I ran quite a bit back fighting the wolves.
I heard then the wolves sound, and thought that it was probably bugged in the place where I was supposed to hear them the first time, so I just continued my path, then another pack appeared, this time with 10 wolves.....

Pls Fix this sound thing in Livonia. Wolves are as bugged as footsteps..

Hello Bab.D.
Just to be sure we understand correctly, the other pack did produce sounds as it should or it did not? And if it is possible, can you record a video of this issue for us?
Regards,
Geez

@Geez Hi. This needs to be tested with multiple players. I got this several times when two players are nearby, one player receives the sound of an animal, and the second says that he did not hear anything. This is often seen in the broadcast on YouTube, from other players.
It is possible that in the situation that is written on this ticket, other players could be nearby.

@Geez, yes the second pack produced the sounds. It might be what @Lex pointed out, since I had experienced that aswell while traveling with a friend, he would hear the wolves me not, then I relogged and I heard the wolves and he not lol.

Ill try to record that when I encounter the issue again, this time nvidia experience wasnt activated.

Yes this I can confirm that has happened to me and my friends alot.
We randomly hear them, some hear them and some don't. But if they are far away and after awhile you start hearing sometimes.

When you are solo you have also this problem, all of a sudden you have wolfs on you.
But I would not mind that this would happen time to time but atm this is clearly a bug since some hear them but others don't.

The Sounds of all animals do not come simultaneously to the players, two, three ... and so on. Bears, wolves, sheep, wild boars .... all sounds are asynchronous to the players, but sometimes (rarely) play simultaneously for everyone. I hunted a lot with a friend, for all types of animals, out of 100% of the sound of animals, about 10% we both heard the sound at the same time.

Exactly what Lex said about wolves, has been around since at least 1.07. Happened to me numerous times; when playing with a friend, and we hear howls, seems completelly random the way we hear them at the same time. Sometimes he heard one and I did't, and next time happened the opposite, I heard one, and he didn't… I have not noticed it with other animals' sounds but probably happens too.

@Geez Probably we need to make a different ticket, since this one is for wolves' howls not being heard at all. What Lex and I are saying is that when they do howl, two or more players can hear then randomly and only rarelly at the same time. If so, I can make it.

Our gaming group has been noticing this while some can hear the howl and some not. Sometime this can vary, the one last time who didn't hear hears and way around.
This is a bit confusing.

Is this noticed problem??

Edit. This problem has been always present. And with bears we have not noticed this problem.
