When approaching canopy tent with a camo net on it the sloped top of the tent shows without the camo. The sides of the tent do show the camo. As the player gets closer the camo suddenly pops in on the tent top. This severely compromises the camo effect in game. I'm not sure how this changes when looking through binoculars.

It appears the draw distance of the camo net and the tent are different for the top of the tent.
