@GlutenFreeVapes Hi and no. It doesn't seem related to me. This ticket discusses two issues. The first is about the lifetime of never touched items and the second is about the problem of no existing limit to the amount of how many of one item can spawn in a specific area. If the latter existed, we wouldn't have the problem of swarm spawning, discussed in this ticket --> T137112
It seems like some older persistence backup must have gotten in the way of testing, because after another wipe I can't reproduce this issue. Sorry for the erroneous report.
Is this related https://feedback.bistudio.com/T152546
Changing RespawnLimit should make it so only the limited amount of one item will be respawned every cycle. <<< is this correct?
@Geez appears to be RESOLVED
@Geez Dear devs, please add a check in the Central Loot Economy Config as to how many of one specific item are allowed to spawn in a certain area/or distance from each other This would resolve the "swarm spawning"-phenomenon

First of all, excuse me for the late response.

This bug is still at large in 1.09 experimental, in any area where the zombies are of the "city" type, you will only see female infected, with the exception of other specific types (police, firefighter, medical etc).
I think it will be enough to add the HandleDamage function as in arma 3
so you can adjust damage to objects with different hit points, up to disabling damage with specific hit points.
and in EEHitBy it is easy to track the damage done at a certain moment, so that you can catch what was shot exactly at the door handle, etc., in general, for many mods this solution is suitable

Anyone cares about this one? It is pretty dangerous bug.
Little update. Problem STILL PRESENT
i saw this bug during sumrak stream too
Well, I met this bug at the Police Station in one of the cities. I guess someone locked it with a lockpick long time ago and now when you released that patch with "Doors are now persistent" it bugged. Also, it did not show me, that door is locked even if I locked it by myself with a lockpick, I mean, on UI

A49657562 Just logged out for couple hours and as soon as he logged back in we were all dead shot instantly.
I'm using fullscreen. Fullscreen-windowed has the flaw of blocking me from accessing the desktop in Windows 10, steamdb which I believe is Microsoft's fault and not BI's, otherwise I would be using it.

Hello Decibel.
Are you having this issue on the stable or experimental version? And are you able to launch the game through the Dayz_BE.exe? Also, has the launcher worked for you previously or do you experience this issue since installing the game? If the launcher worked previously, then were there any software changes on your computer that could have caused this issue?

Geez

Understandable, I assumed afterwards when Sumrak was showing it off that due to the windmap for it, it would only blow in one direction. Still very cool! Thanks for the response!
Issue solved.
After verifying Dayz, and couple install / uninstall (which didn't do anything), following instruction... i decided to search every Dayz file on my PC which is left after uninstallation and delete them one by one. And there it is, game is working just fine.
Hello MyhatHazBulletz.
We have tested the issue but unfortunately we were unable to produce it. In case you come across any other information you could provide to possibly lead us towards producing the issue, please let us know.

Geez
Is this problem solvable? At 1.09 it's the same with trees and grass.
After further testing, it seems that this issue can be resolved.
Thank you, I just noticed it was added that Chernarus is running Livonia economy to the known issues. Explains it!
Thank you for the report Beavis.
This is definitely not intentional and we are planning to make corrections for the next update.

Hello PFT_Clumsy.
Please try to verify the game data through Steam and delete the configuration files when prompted to do so (also make sure that steam cloud sync is disabled prior to doing so).
If that does not resolve the issue, you can try the following:
Thank you for the report DrDeSync.

Hello again.
Apparently this is a design decision due to current limitations of the engine.

Take a look at the PvZMod when you get a chance, it has a system regarding bullet no 1. Running over infected will cause damage to the vehicle's radiator and the server owner can configure how much damage is caused and how resilient different vehicles are. Some clever solutions there, I believe something along those lines should be a vanilla feature.
ImpulZ confirmed on the forum that this is intended. I guess the reasoning is the easiest method should be the slowest, but it doesn't really make sense. Cooking on a stick should be slower.
neither of us heard gunshots we both had helmets on and we were in a car. Seems suspect to aim bot
